Bob Ross (Painter) and Drug Use

I read on wikipedia that the reason he speaks so weird and softly is because he was in the airforce in his early 20s and hated being yelled at and giving orders, so when he finally was making enough money from painting to quit the airforce he vowed to never make loud noises again

Did you say Bob Ross? I never heard that he took drugs. Bob Ross, the great artist. Saw this guy when a sky channel 1st broadcast his show back in the late 90s and I tell you this: this guy can truly paint, I mean truly paint. I grew up with his show, and I love watching it. I've always wanted to learn painting and when I found Bob Ross's DVD at eBay, I fall in love and bought another one from artistsupplysource.com and decided this was the time. A lot of times, I just listen to Bob talking in the background while I do something else. He's just so soothing to listen to.

why the fuck do kids always assume people are on drugs if they do something out of the norm. The biggest bullshit is the writer of alice in wonderland was on drugs when wrote it.

I still remember the first time I watched Bob Ross, 7th grade at Sugarbush in the hotel before skiing, his soft gentle voice and his technique. Ahh hope Bob is painting some beautiful mountains in heaven. RIP

Whatever, maybe they just searched Bob Ross wanting to know the ns opinion of him?

The guy was fantastic, he worked really hard to do the things that made him happy also make him successful. Also the asmr vibes are fantastic. I used to watch him on PBS when I was home sick from school, guaranteed chill/naptime.
 
He was a master of composition. I never saw anyone make drawing trees and mountains look so easy.
