are skiers welcome at boarderline and will they get coaching attention? i was watching something on it on Northernboarder tv and it looked pretty tight and my friend who is a snowboarder said its really fun and that it improves skills. any of you been to it?

yeah its really good, and they let skiers in. as for coaching, i think there was a coach this year but im not sure.

camp boarderline is sweet, and as far as i could tell there wasn't any animosity between skiers/snowboarders, i had a rad time, if your going just to recieve coaching dont bother because its not that sort of camp, but you can ask people for help and they'll do what they can, its more like a huge jam session in a sick park all week, and thta would be tight if thry had it going all year round, people would be getting way good

i was offered to coach there next year as opposed to colin. if i have time, i will, and i can teach you some stuff.

ya, i'm gonna see how i do this year and if i get my confidence up and start throwing and going big i think i might do it.

one of the other guys will give you more info but what i know is that its a snowboard/ski camp where you spend a week hitting huge jumps and rails, in late spring i think it is and its at alyeska.

its like the first week school gets out down at alyeska. they have tables, rails, and jumps all over the moutain. they have rail comps, big air comps, and skate comps down at the skatepark. the skier scene gets bigger every year, so its worth going up for at least a day to check it out. you can pay by the session or by the day. go to any boarderline store for details.

....and if you pay by the week then you get coaching, lunch, comps, etc. so it is really a better deal.

for me personally, i was getting throttled at camp and crashing a bunch so to pay day by day worked well because then i got rest/recovery days and didnt lose any money - and even if your not in a session you get all the lunch and free shirts and crap because nobody checks
