Yeah so i have a friend who landed both underage drinking/paraphernalia convictions and doesn't know if he can cross the boarder from NY to Canada. Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks K+

it has to be a felony. if you have no felonys, you have no problem.

in fact, you might even be able to cross the border with a felony, as long as you dont have weapons. one time we had to drive the long way to maine from NY because we had too many guns and too many convicted felons in our car to shortcut through canada, but that was years ago and i know things have become stricter. i remember it was mostly the combination of guns and felonys that the mountees or maple syrup gods or whatever were displeased with, and not one or the other.

nobody is going to point out that it's Border, and not Boarder ?

as in, the Border around an area

vs

a Boarder, one who rider a board or steps aboard a train for example

border

border

border

border

Canada is pretty strict with DUI convictions which are not felonys, 10 year ban, not sure about the charges you asked though.

I live at the border (Buffalo) and they have always seemed really easy going on your way in. Coming back they life to give you some shit or check your trunk every once and a while. You should be fine, just watch yourself coming back in

Just stay with the middle of the pack and they won't even notice you.
