Bmx helmets question

I tried searching it but found nothing. I was wondering if a bmx helmet would be suitable for skiing, or would it provide no protection. in particular this one looked pretty good for such a cheap price http://www.protechelmet.com/proddetail.asp?prod=4638219 . I was wondering if i'd hit jackpot or if they're completely useless for skiing.

I use a pro tec helmet for skiing an its been fine. I'm sure its durable considering bmxers wack their heads pretty good sometimes.

Should be more than enough protection. That helmet is CPSC approved (same protection amount as their snow helmets). Go to www.pro-tec.net and read about it and its protection. Should be fine though. Good luck, hopefully you'll never have to test it
