Saw a commercial about this the other day, anybody know when it's coming out? How much it's going to cost? Literally jaw dropping car

it looks like a complete concept so the release date would be impossible to gauge. If it came out by 2013 thatd be pretty sweet although im not a fan of the futuristic space age design at all
 
I personally love this design, but all it's features are what amazed me as well. The concepts of energy and power saving, every aspect of driving incorporated into how to decrease emissions and gas consumption, etc. blew me away
 
Its a concept so they will make the body look better, concepts always look over the top. And who knows if it will actually come out or not
 
Car company's should just produce there concept cars. The Toyota FJ was a concept in like 06,if they made it then it would have would have more then than now. If BMW does make this car, it would be a total game changer ^( post above) because design would make leaps and bounds. If i had $100,000 of my own money ( not my fathers, spoiled whore) i would buy Hyundai stock right now, they are gonna sell so many cars in the 20-Teens, mark my words. BUT i'm getting my 1989 Toyota SR5 this weekends so you can all suck it because once i get lockers i can drive over any fucking car any of you own. Done.
 
It is a concept, but I also think they are going to release to public. i3 is coming out in 2013. The i8 may not come out until 2014 and cost about $200,000. I want
 
thats deff. some cutting edge shit, its cool to look at Merc and BMW and lexus to see where the auto industry is going in the future
 
FUCK THE FUTURE IS NOW THE PRESENT!!! I remember when cars like this used to just be concepts but now they are starting to produce them. Crazy shit. Looks sick,kind of reminds me of this car:

 
eh, audi just came and did it better with the e-tron concept. 106mpg, 296bhp, and fucking 479ft-lbs.

It goes from 0-60 in 4.3 (thats just as fast as my BMW 325xi / 3 series 2.5L inline 6)

The i8 straight electric while the OP car (the i3) will do 93mpg.

the i3 can go 35km on electric power alone

its better looking than the bmw for sure but it still seems lacking. theres nothing really new looking about this car (atleast in this shot) it just looks kinda like an R8 but more boring? and the rims are atrocious haha
 
that bmw is fucking awful. make a damn car that looks normal and not from the future and maybe ill consider it. thank you audi for finally making a semi normal (and good) looking hybrid or whatever it is.
