It's 1 hours south of cleveland and they just spent over 10K on new rails, expanded their park by 3x's and are now listening to the riders. I called up boston mills and asked them if i could help them setup their comps so they dont suck. When i mentioned rail comps they said 'we dont know if kent wants to jump into things like that right now'.

amazing how some one could manage a whole ski area and be so out of touch with what skiing (and snowboarding too) is becoming. to him it is about ski clubs and rentals and food sales.

definately make the drive to snowtrails, and if you buy a pass before nov. 21st, its $229. we have a super chill group of locals, and soooo many urban hits within only a couple miles. everyone out there is super excited about everything we do, how many other resorts do you know that host a big air jam on the main hill in the middle of the day?

yah there is no arguing that snowtrails knows whats up when it comes to comps, having fun, and getting your money's worth..jerry is right, kent graham is only concerned about how many busloads of skiclub pricks he can ship in and how many $5 cups of french fries he can sell..i have a feeling we're gonna be at snowtrails alot more this year

Snowtrails is about an hour north of C-bus. It is exit 169 off I-71 north. Coming from Delaware you can take 306? across to 71 and then head north. Its a lot faster than taking 270 to 71. Peace.

i've skied snowtrails a few times. the rails didn't blow me away but i thought the jumps were pretty good. i saw some good skiers when i was there.

i think its more then an hour away from me though....it take 1 1/2 hours to get to c- bus...and 2 1/2 to get to clev.

if snowtrails didnt blow you away, i would give it a second chance this year. they have invested about $10,000 in park improvements including trippling the size of their park. As far as impressment goes, they are getting a 60 foot roller coaster. That place is sick. Kids all got a good vibe, the groomers and management are kick ass. why not snowtrails?

 
everyone who skis or rides is invited to our premiere on october 9th, its at kent state university at the kiva center which holds 400+ people, so it should get pretty roudy. Its from 7:30-9:30. Sponsors range from Snow Trails,Little Mountain Ltd, Sun Valley, Squadron Clothing, Anti-Freeze Clothing, Kilted Yak, Village Boards.... There should be alot of cool door prizes and give aways. You'll be able to see a video with places you ski, which should be something new. DVD's will be sold at the premiere as well.
