does anyone know about bluehouse skis? i have heard about em but thats about it. do they make reliable skis or good gear?

+k for bumps and help

Save your money. Bluehouse buys shitty skis that they "design" from some shitty factory that mass produces bad product for a bunch of other people. Their skis are bargain skis, they belong on blue light special at wall-mart and they ski like it. You might get a half season out of a pair if you weigh less than 100 lbs, or you don't ski hard.

One thing to take in mind when buying skis as a general rule (and applies to just about everything in life) you get what you pay for. Not always the case though, just something that should generally be taken into consideration. Good luck with the ski shopping OP.

2009 line up... Gross2012 line up... way better but not perfect.

wait a couple more years or at least until they start to sponser big skiers and start to make promodels

they are kind of in the surface house where they haven't really gotten a handle on construction / design. Give them time and they might make some good stuff.

I'd love to support em, being a small salt lake based company and all, but I had a terrible experience. Got 10/11 maestros, the were great for 20 days and then proceeded to become the most dead, soft, beat skis I've ever skied. Real bummer for sure. I did ski em hard at Alta and the Bird though and weigh 210, but regardless, they should've held up better '

I have the 4Bi9 edition antics and have yet to have a problem with them. Got em for $170 of another member and they've held up surprisingly well. They lasted many urban sessions and rage quit throws into concrete and varios other surfaces.

Kutcher doesn't ski for Bluehouse, and Ryan Wyble goes through skis like Oprah goes through weight fluctuations.

I know like a month ago blue house had last years antics for dirt cheap like less the 200 so thats probably where everyone got there's. They are out now though.

blue house are legit a fuck my antics have lasted 2 seasons and just started to chip around the top and i ride mostly rails cause there isnt really jumps near me. they are nice and soft as well and pretty close to symmetrical so good for center mount and riding switch. all round a sick ski
