Such a sick picture!! Go to our profile...you may be surprised!

I'll deffinatley be talking to Jared about a graphic revival. And maybe who knows? NS Mr or antic for the season after next?

how are the durability on the antics? I am thinking of picking up a pair next year. since they're sidewall construction doesn't that usually mean a ton of chipping?

the sidewall of my ski exploded under foot but the ski still performs the same way. the chipping is not that bad. i will post a picture of the damage it is pretty bad. great ski except for durability

I saw a set at the shop I work at with exactly the same problem.
I think Bluehouse is a rad company offering great prices, but unfortunately I've had a really mixed experience with my 189 Maestros.
My skis have gone from fun, poppy, with some stiffness under foot to dead and super soft. I would compare their flex to a JJ at the beginning of the year (bit stiffer) and now they are much closer to my EP Pros. This happened within 20 days on them and I am really frustrated to be completely honest.
On top of this, I've talked to a number of people around the Central-Northern VT area about their skis and have heard very similar things. i've even heard that people have had their traditionally cambered bluehouses become rockered.
Not sure if it's bamboo or what?

Yeah my edge/sidewall is starting to delam and is cracked in one spot. Hasn't blown up quite as bad as above but hopefully it won't. Not sure I want to get another pair, I can't keep breaking skis every couple of months. I do love the ski though, just wish they were more durable

Get some epoxy, fill in in the cracks as much as you can, clamp your ski with wood on both sides to distribute the pressure and let it sick over night. Make sure to white out the epoxy that leaks out. Just something to try in the short term.

it happened almost two months ago and i have been too lazy to epoxy it. my season is almost over so i am just going to ride them like that for the remaining weeks. thanks for the advice though

Just ordered some yesterday. But still, with the pressure from the bend of the ski I don't see it holding all that well

If you can get the Antics to be a more durable ski, I will happily buy another pair. Another thing to watch for is where the edges meet on the tip. Mine look like there ready to pop out.

you mean like this lol their customer service is crazy good though and they sent me a new pair soo no worries when buying from bluehouse! love their skis!

Do you guys like?

We have offered the antics in 3 different graphics because it's so popular.

My set up for next year will be.

Monarch 188 with Marker Squire (I'm going for my park ski light light light!!!)

Maven 191 with Marker Jester (DEEP POWDER DAYS)

Maestro 189 with Marker Squire (for those days after the big dump This is by far my favorite ski. The moustache camber rocks all over)

We will be doing a TEAM GIVE model again this year. Super stoked on that!!

double post FUUUU

But i just got an email telling me everything and what not. explaining how skis work. But good news everbody!! We are using a tottaly different material for the topsheets on next years skis will also have a bevel between the topsheet and sidewall which will also reduce chipping.

Looks super sick. I want the 189 Panda Maestros. I wanted the Team Give Maestro this year but the day before I was about to buy it, it sold out. So I just went with the normal Maestro, and I love them.

I'm sorry but @bluehouseski's, what is going on with you guys? ''Explaining how skis work' '? What kind of ski manufactor doesnt know how ski's work?? Does bluehouse have a new owner or what? Is this your way to present the changes in your line up for next year? In a thread on NS? I'm not hating, but weird things are going on..

Oh and reading that a ski manufactor wants to use Marker Squires just makes me feel like I am being trolled.....

Sorry man. Not being trolled. I run the account and know Jared and Shane quite well! I am the social networking manager here. Not getting trolled. I weigh 135 and like a super light park set up. plus they are cheap!

I was trying to help that guy out from what i know, trying to help him out! haha If he had any questions he could PM me and i'd talk to Jared and Shane.

Sorry for any mis-conceptions!

squire are the shit if your light enough

people here hate on them cuz either they weight oo much for them

like 150+ anything under will blow away

that is good to hear! i have a few gaps between the topsheet and the sidewall. also as mentioned above the part of the tip where the edge starts is also a weak spot on my ski. hopefully the durability issues get sorted out because the antics are a super fun ski.

I really love my antics and would suggest them, but if you beat on your skis I think Ninthwards will hold up better, someone correct me if I'm wrong

This for sure!! The reason i like them so much is that they are so light. I weigh 135 and they rock.

To the guy wondering about 9's or bluehouse. Get what you like, read the reviews on our products as well as theirs. If you have any questions shoot me a PM and I'd be glad to help you.

You should offer the 189 maestros with some different options of bindings then just the squires. I weigh over 150 but I want a good deal with some maestros and bindings.

I'm not sure on the exact date, but i know our big sale will be in August, so I expect before then. Probably around mid July- early August. I'll be updating this thread as i get more!!
