Hey guys I got up to stevens pass WA the other day to try these out and thought I should share my experience with the skis from this new company.

These skis rock. light weight on your feet and feel very nimble in these early conditions bopping and weaving between little trees. VERY springy and poppy my first jump I launched way farther than I expected and was worried because I overshot into a whole bunch of crud and choppy snow. But it was no problem! these thing cruised through crud like it wasnt even there! Normally I wouldve expected to get launched in a pile or something. They felt pretty stable at high speeds. These things have some personality, the flex and pop makes them kind of spunky? probably due to the bamboo core. Checked my bases at the end of the day and looked almost new very minor scratches which makes me believe that these have good tough bases.

I ordered a pair of MR's last week and they came yesterday....sadly I wasnt here to sign, so I'm still waiting. I've heard nothing about good things from these skis and for $160 (with some rossi bindings) I couldn't pass em up. Going to test em out next week, can' wait!

To add to Bluehouse skis, they responded to my email almost immediately, even though it really wasnt much of anything. Sent the email on sunday afternoon and they had responded by like 9am on monday morning. Super cool. Really friendly and didn't sound like a generated email. These guys are pretty rad.

i also agree i emailed one of the main guys at bluehouse and got an immediate response that was definately personaly written

i didnt get any stickers though :(
 
infact they have been talked about alot for telemarking as well as the districts, go check out the skis, theres a bundle of them and I know for a fact the people love several different skis for telemark
 
yea man, and check out the bindings I have on them. With that heavy flexplate in the center I feel like it's taking a bit of the camber away
 
Can anyone tell me if the antic 182's are actually the size they say? I'm 5'10" and really want to get the 175's but they won't be in until march... :( Would I be able to get away with the 182's?
 
You might as well go for it then. The company has a 30-day return policy so if you get them and find they are too big you can just send em back.
 
I also have the 08/09 MRs and I love them. Also, they guys at Bluehouse seriously rock. Best customer service hands down. When I was wanting to know about my order, I called and Jared picked up while he was out skiing. Now that is baller customer service. Also the skis are dope!
 
Went to P.O.S. Crystal Mountain WA today ROCKS EVERYWHERE! definately hit some monsters and my bases actually help up really really well i thought forsure they had major gouges but nothing really major
 
you definitely should be! one of the most fun skis i have ever ridden! so light and poppy its not even funny!
 
just got my bindings and boots fitted to my MR's. Gonna get to test them out for the first time tomorrow. STOKED
now if only i didnt have the turn of last century's bindings mounted on my nice skiis, but they will do for this season
 
Someone tell me about the Maestros. Something just seems so wack to me that all their skis are so cheap. And that's exactly what I'm looking for. Cheap pow skis! So someone help me out
 
I have not skied them personally but honestly you cant go wrong they have a satisfaction guarantee...dont like em'? send them back, the end

the bindings were -1cm back from center when I got them and that's where they will stay for this season. I'm gonna mount them true center or recommended center next season when I get new bindings. Haven't decided yet.
 
Sorry for posting so much in gear talk. Just got ns username and password back.

But My favorite graphics are the 08-09 graphics. Next year's graphics are SICK. The camber on the MR is like riding a cloud, and because of that camber it makes it pop like no other.

So glad to hear all your guy's stoke on our skis! Post pics on our facebook and what not!!

All of our emails are hand ritten, i don't know how else to do it really? haha

Stickers take a while to get. sorry. :(
 
I love my 08/09 MRs they are so sick and rip everything. Bluehouse is by far my favorite ski company and they are like 10 minutes away haha
 
how does bluehouse measure, do they run longer o shorter. im 6'3" and im lookin at some 182 antics just wanna know how they measure up

riding the 08-09 MRs and get a ton of comments on the graphics.camber is huge too, but makes it a really fun ski and it pops hard!
got some pics of the stickers you guys sent me that I've been meaning to postThey did take a while to get, but you guys kept me up to date w/ emails and it was the holiday season.

Haha the 08-09 MR's are bomb. I'm thinking we do a revival of the old graphic sometime? Like a limited run? What do you guys think?
