Bluehouse Antics

I'm very interested in getting the Bluehouse Antics. Should I get 174cm or 182? I am 6ft tall, about 163 pounds. I am a intermediate skier but will be a highly advanced skier by the end of this season. I know some of this is personal preference but if i could get some help, and hear other's opinions that would be good. Thanks NS! And sorry for making a thead about ski sizing.

yeah. This will be my first park specific ski. I just want to make sure if i got 182 it wouldnt be hard to maneuver, and be harder to spin. That's my main reason for this thread.

I think you should be fine with the 182s

If you mount them at center they will ski a bit shorter and even if they feel long at first you'll get used to them pretty quickly

thanks man. some +k. I've decided to go with 182, after talking to my friends and such. so this thread's over.

There's really only about a 3 in difference between the two. If you really aren't very confident in your skiing and/or primarily do rails, you might be better off with the 174. However, if you're looking to do a lot of jumps, go with the 182. I think longer skis also help make you a better all around skier.

Yeah, we need to know if you're doing more rails or jumps... If you're doing mostly rails than get 174s. Don't fear the longer ones though, you'll get used to them and they will be better everywhere except park.

I just sealed the deal on 174's. Once again, I am 5'10" 140.

I had 179MR's last year and they were GREAT for pretty much everything. I did have a problem with tech rail tricks for the most part, partly because of my huge SPK's, partly because of my giant skis, and I have to acknowledge my lack of tech rail skill.

I have Booters right now (they actually fit me unlike SPKs) so that will give some more control, and and antics are .3kg lighter, and a full cm thinner in size 174.

I know I said 182 before, but if you do ski a lot of rails, I think that the added rail benefit will make up for any problems with shortness. HOWEVER, you wouldn't have a problem with the 182.

I'm about 5'9'' and skiing on 171s which I wish were a bit bigger so I'd go with 182 being that you're already a few inches taller than me.

go with the 182s dude.. if you dont you'll regret it.. im 6' 210 and have 182 atomic punx and yes the 174s will be easier to throw around on tech tricks but landing both off rails and when hitting jumps you wont have ideal stability
