fuck that man. i have a 5x7 and i still havnt used it yet cause they didnt have anything set up during the break and now i have to wait 3 weeks? i want my money back.

Ya my sis lives up there and they laid everyone off and told them not to come back until there is lots of snow. So that is about 1600 people and a lot more affected. THIS WEATHER SUCKS

tell all the torontonians who drive their SUV's up to their weekend chalets thanks for not having a ski season this year

get a refund from el nino or god if you're a christian.

you people have a lot of gull. deal with it. its not like blue did it on purpose so they could jip their pass holders out of their money by somehow changing the weather patterns. maybe with all the money they made from not giving refunds they will buy some artillery so they can shoot silver iodide or dry ice into the clouds over the escarpment. then again this is intrawest, they will probably funnel the money they saved from snow making into building another georgian.

global warming has been happening for a long ass time. there is no way however to prove whether or not it is.

my dad told me that if you go to another intrawest ski resort and show your 5x7 pass you can ski for free until like sometime in february thats like whistler and tremblant and any other intrawest place

Winter is back at Blue Mountain and we have reopened with Tranquility, Smart Alec and Easy Street.

The snowmaking team is making snow across the mountain right now and will continue to do so as long as conditions allow.

Yes the guns are running in Badlands.

The long range forecast looks like winter might finally be here so as long as Mother Nature plays along we are anticipating opening more terrain over the next week.

If you are a season pass holder and you just can’t wait to get out on the hill Intrawest is offering the following:

Ski for free at 4 of the North American Intrawest resorts including Whistler Blackcomb (midweek), Panorama (anytime), Tremblant (midweek) and Stratton (midweek). There are also special lodging rates available at all 4 resorts and special deals on airfares to help you get there. (You will need to show your pass – so make sure you take it with you!)

You’re right that is a good question.

We are making as much snow as possible in order to get more terrain open - the snow guns are still pumping out snow - and we are making snow in Badlands.

I'm not sure if they will have a rail line up for this weekend - like I mentioned the priority right now is getting snow on the hill in order to make this happen. I know that we are trying to make it happen sooner rather than later.

It looks like the temperature is going up tomorrow and then back down over the weekend - as you are all aware we need the temperature to remain low in order to make snow.

I will see what I can find out about when we might see something in Badlands.

stop whining foulds! you paid $159 for a 5X7. all you need to do is ride 3 times and it's paid for.

and about the global warming comment, tell those lucky bastards in BC and Colorado that it's global warming

I just posted this in another thread but there is a chance that some of the features will be available tomorrow - Thursday - but it will depend on how the build progresses...

the Century Express lift should open tomorrow and hopefully there will be limited access to some features in Badlands
