So i just got back from blue and i am soo happy. i int because thye just closed becsue lack of snow and the fact that it is raining, it is because i found out what is going to be new this year. i was talking to the park manager and he said that this year it is going to be alot more about progression (SP?) so there are going to problay be : 2 batle ship boxes 1 is going to be a foot and the other 2 feat, 1 afream box not shure width probaly 2 feat, pymrad wall ride with flat section at top hitable from both sides, 1 c box, 1 s box. the last 3 things are preaty much finalized and the first one are still being planed out

this is all waht the park manager said to me this fri so lets see what hapens

ps: the park is also going to be 50 feat wider
 
ya weve already gone through this and its incredibly gay that everything is soo low off the ground and wide as fuck.. a foot to two feet wide? is that a fucking joke or something.

Oh and we arent aloud round bars anymore guys, GREAT!

park staff built a dfd down round bar and it got taken apart without notice.

Did i mention that our jumps are gonna be 15-35 feet from last years 40 - 60 ... I love how the new guy is such a homo
 
i find it ironic that the only thing you didnt know how to spell, you spelt righ,t and pretty much everything else was spelt wrong.
 
sooooooooooooooo i guess its true that blue is closed until further notice? like you cant ski that mini park that was on the front page now?
 
the new black material they are useing for thier boxes is so smooth, but it my just be the fact that it is new and not may people hit it. One guy cought his edge on it and took out a peice of the plastic and it was rolled up like a joint, and when i pulled it off the box i cuz my finger on some of the metel that the guy took off also, but then the filed it down and it was as good as new
 
ya it was a retarded snowboarder that want wearing a helmet and nearly wrecked himself on every thing he hit, it is ridiculous how they pretty much burned every decent rail that they had they got rid of the long hand rail, the flat down, and a hole bunch of other nice rails and are now putting up these shady rails that are just about as wide as long
 
WHHAAAAAAAAAAAT!!! only 15-35ft?!! what the fuck is wrong with this guy? why did the guy from last year leave? and they got rid of the long handrail?!!!!
 
well thats cool to know what you think but its completely irrelevant because its the new boss who just wants safety and he thinks that people will progress on this shit well if he thinks about it every mtn. that has a good park doesnt have 2 foot wide boxes and 35 foot jumps... and if you think its because blue is owned by intrawest and intrawest is doing it your also wrong because if it was all intrawest decision we would have a park like whistler or tremblant
 
ok well i was talking to the manager and he said something about the insurance and he also gave my freind (pm joe_shmo for it) his email for ideas for new stuff, he is a really nice guy, and he says like to get other peoples opinion.
 
if there is not a big booter this year, i am officialy resigning all affiliation i have with that place
 
Yes i know the guy considering i ski there every day possibly and always run into him and talk to him.. and it has to do with insurance, sure.. but thats not the reason for the wide low boxes and short jumps; the reason is he wants everything to be safer so he doesn't have to worry about people getting hurt and he thinks the majority of people riding the park want this shit... but hes wrong only a few fags that cant ski want this shit (you).
 
to add on to that Pete (the guy we are talking about) sees the people riding thr park as like a huge percentage of beginners, then a small sliver of them considered to be at the 'pro' level. But this isnt that accurate of a statement as he didn't actually do a survey he just assumes. As well, most people dont want to pay ten dollars and watch a a thirty minute movie just to ride shitty boxes and small jumps considering the vast majority of these people are good skiers and snowboarders that want to progress on larger features... even if they aren't "good" riders/skiers they tend to be shitty and can still progress on the little amount of small boxes we do own.

 
^this whole problem we have has to do with the fact that they want to make blue mnt. about progression. they see the majority of people that ride the park to be beginners and intermediate riders (which i dont really see much of at blue).
 
i never asked for wide boxes, i was the one who asked for another box same width the dfd. AND STOP HATTING

no its not the zander kid, its the other kid (the one with the green RED helmet) that was with zander the weekend of frozen rail jam.
