Im gonna be in michigan in mid december to see my sister, but ill have 5 days to kill while shes studying for exams. Im prob gonna go on a side trip and I saw blue is 6 hours away from where I am. so would blue be worth it to drive 6 hours to ski 2-3 days and drive 6 hours back. Basically do yall think they will have a decent park set up with a good amount of rails and maybe a good sized jump? another plus for this little trip is im 20 and go to bars, while i can't in the us cause our drinking laws are gay.

blue's park is deffinetly top class for Ontario(reason: 10$ park pass) depends how bad you really want to ski. Are there no places in Michigan?

wait, so you only have to pay $10 for the entire park, or do they have a seasonal park pass that's added on like winter park.

Well, there are a few places that are really close to where Im staying but all they will have is rails. I just want to take a short trip to ski something thats not a landfill. The places in michigan are decent, smaller vert than blue, same price, not as good for terrain parks. There are places like boyne and nubs knob that have decent parks that are 5 hours away but im not sure how much they will have open as far as terrain parks. I also want to go to canada and just go somewhere different cause ive been to northern michigan before.

the park pass last you the whole season.

Mid December is always iffy, can be pretty decent and can be shit. Example, last year at mid december the hills were still brown. As of now, its covered in white, so my advice for you is just keep an eye out on the weather and check the snow reports/ hill reports daily to see what shape the hill is in.

Also consider Mt. St. Louis-Moonstone as well...

Mid-December is a crap-shoot though for conditions.

I would not road trip to moonstone, at least if the conditions turn to hell at blue there is a village and places to get ripped and girls on family vacations. Find a friend to come with, take your sisters roommate, get up here. If there is a park, rad, if there isn't have the time of your life getting into bars before you go back to america.

True, but at the same time, if he knew ahead of time that there was no good park, he likely wouldn't come up at all.

yah srsly on the weekend its usually 2 hrs to mslm or blue and 2 hrs back, not that bad if you planing to stay a couple days
