Blue mtn PA big air comp

So I learned the other day that at a big air comp, difficulty really has nothing to do with the score. I went out an did a cork 7 saftey grab and sketched the landing and ended up getting 3rd. Now the two guys that beat me threw straight airs or 360's. I'm a little confused on what the hell happened yesterday. I understand that these two guys didn't sketch out on their landings, but fuck, a straight 3 beat a cork 7. Any thoughts?

Ed doesnt know how to judge. Even if you sketch out a cork 7, no way dillon shoulda won w/ a 3 tail. Thats like stuff you can do with your eyes clothes. Congrats on the rail jam though, i heard you came in switch and then switched up down the kink? I'll be up every day this week, blue and white jacket w/ a black helmet, look for me with the camera around my neck ~Justin~

yeah the rail comp was phatty.. fakie on to swtich up to fakie on the kink... i was hucking corked 7 toxics but i didnt land any smooth..

chicken man did 360s and won... better luck next year i guess... its all good.

 
maybe the judges jeans were too tight...
