Hey, im going to blue mountain this christmas break and i was wondering if the terrain parks are even open right now and are all the runs and lifts going to be running by then? and im probably going on the day after boxing day
 
No parks are open, they only had two chairs and two runs open this weekend and I don't think next weekend will be any better because its supposed to rain. The park will open sometime during the christmas break depending on conditions. If you want to keep up to date just go to www.bluemountain.ca.
 
considering that Xmas, presidents week and march break are the busiest weeks at blue therefore when they make the most profit they will try to have as much open as possible.

The only thing I would worry about is if they can make enoguh snow for the park to be open that early
 
does any one know if they will even have a mini park set up this weekend because i am going all weekend with 2 friends and if they dont have anything we are going to be pretty fucken bored
 
apperently im not going to see freezing temps till atleast next tuesday...
 
Im heading up there for the rest of the month.. im jsut being lazy and to lazy to pack... haha...

hopefully we mother nature decides to love us again and gives us a good dump of the white stuff!
 
Please Note: Day and Night operations will be suspended as of Sunday, December 17, 2006 until further notice.

Snowmaking will resume when optimum temperatures allow, and every effort will be made to re-open terrain for skiing and riding as soon as possible.
 
i was in grey pants, light brown plaid jacket, green helmet, wtire gogles, and blakc skis with "N" "S" on the tip, and i think thats about all i can say bout me.

We did make snow with the ground guns during the day yesterday and overnight - however the forecast for today (Dec 20) is not 100% favorable for making snow.

We are hoping that temperature will go down this evening and we will be able to make snow overnight, the snowmaking team is ready to go, they are just waiting for some cooperation from Mother Nature....

I will keep you updated on our reopening as soon as I have details...

Pray for snow!

 
Okay this sucks but the bad news is that temperature remained at around +4 degrees overnight so we weren't able to make snow...

Blue Mountain will remain closed this weekend and it is unlikely that we will be able to reopen before the 27th of December. The reopening date will be dependant on weather and snow conditions...

Although we are very fortunate to have one of North America’s most sophisticated snowmaking systems. Even with this technology we still need cold weather to make snow (-2 to -5 degrees Celsius or lower is best).

Ok well that does suck. will i be able to get money back because i just bought i seasons pass and it does not look like i am not going to get to use it much
 
Alright let's not call the season over quite yet; we are anticipating opening again this year. While it’s disappointing that we aren't open over Christmas, we will have the hills open as soon as the weather and snow conditions allows. The 14 day forecast is looking a little better today... I’ll keep you updated...

deal with it. there is no set amount of times you can use a season pass even if the season started on time. that amount is totally arbitrary. the season can open late but you can go every single day or the season can open on time and you only go once a week. asking for a refund because the weather sucks is lame.
 
at least form a coherent sentence. i feel bad for you kids when you when you finally reach grade 10 and you will have to face that EQAO literacy test. best of luck.
 
thing is im in grade 10 and I probably will do very well on the EQAO literacy considering i have an 87 in my class... and i dont write sentences that are gramatically correct or coherent on newschoolers cause i dont give a shit how good my writing is when im talking to fags like yourself on newschoolers.. you fuck up
