Blue Mountain PA

I'm talking about the Blue Mountain in Palmerton Pennsylvania (not Ontario). Does anyone ever ski there? It's pretty much my home mountain when I'm not at school.

Though I've skied in Utah, Colorado, and all of New England I really do like this hill.

Even with 0' of natural snow early in the season they got all the runs open with a 30' base and the park open with decent tabletops. God bless their committment to constant snowmaking, and it's usually not too icy.

If anyone has been here or has similar shitty mountain they've grown to love post it here.

I heard that Line is putting dust from the moon in their skis to make them not as influenced by the gravity of the earth. Has anyone heard of this new technology?

 
i go to school at lehigh and kinda wanted to try blue. Kinda hard to get there w/ out a car, but if its a decent park it might be worth the effort. Where do you live in PA?

i go to council rock but i pretty much live at big boulder. as shity at that little mountain is i still love it.

i'm at school in philly now, but i will be at blue every weekend. i live 10 minutes from there, i've been skiing there for 17 years now, its like my home.

 
by the way, whitetail is def stepping it up this year, we already have a 40foot table and a 30 foot table, plus 9 rails, including the new s rail we are also getting a new wallride

any idea how far blue is from bethlehem, PA? im not from the area, just go to school here, so i have no idea.

I go to school in Pittsburgh, (CMU) , but I live in Bethlehem. It's about 20 min from my house. Taker Center St. (512) to Bath, then Take 248 to Blue Mountain Drive. It's about 16 miles on country road.

 
I live 10 minutes away. Blues a kool mountain ...even tho they got like a foot of natural snow a year...park is sweet now that they redid everything.
 
Im there every weekend. Im the guy in all black. No suit or anything looks retarded. is anyone doin the rail jam or slopestyle on march 4 and 5? Im thinkin about doin it even though im not great but ill be there anyway and the park will be closed so i think im goin to do it anyways
 
Yea i heard bear creek stepped it up alot but i havent been there yet. I just ski at blue every weekend cause my dads on ski patrol so i can ski for free.
 
last week was so sick. They had the park closed all week and opened it back up friday and had such a sick set up.

in like 2 weeks theyre puttin in a 50 ft rollercoaster box
 
ski liberty is where its at man, best atmosphere of skiers i have ever experienced. i just showed up one day, met a bunch of skiers, and we just pushed each other and cheered and had a good time, plus the lips and landings are perfect within reason. i loved it.
 
Um, I grew up riding at camelback? I moved out to california for school, best decision ever. Glad to see some people are still skiing in PA though.
 
i was up blue on sunday when they got like 10 inches of snow it was pretty sweet a little slow to hit the big booters but i had a fun day actually doing the gaps onto the boxes sence here at montage we doont have gaps on our boxes and rails but our jumps are alot better then last years..if anyone is goin to montage lemme know im there all the time on weekends and sometimes on weekdays.

P.S. Clark do u have the 1080 foils?cause if im right i saw u and me and my friend were there i had the 170 ar5s and he had his 148 scratch pros form like 2 years ago.
 
speaking of blue mountain. can someone help me find that movie called breckenridge or something and it has like candide and tj and sammy and pk and adreas and grete. i tried the serahc bar with videos and i couldnt find it.
 
bullshit on that 70 footer, no way does that haggard hill have one. it'd have to be like above the falls, and there's now ay. lets see pics
 
F off when was the last time you were there? They absolutley have a 70 footer and dorsey all you do is bitch at blue, we ride in PA there is no room for stupid bitching
 
blue mt can suck my balls. if youve ever been anywhere else you would realize how bad the jumps are especiall mid way to late in the season.
