Blue Mountain PA - 05/06 News!

no one can ski pipe at blue, look at what we had to work with. hopefully this season it wont be as haggared everyday cause i think pipe is mad fun
 
The pipe has been widened, the number of snow guns has been doubled, and we have a new pipe groomer. I really think the pipe will be a lot better this year.
 
yea, any word on the park? i'm thinkin the lower will be open. Who's goin up this weekend? i'll be up friday night, sat night, and sunday morning...
 
two guys that were getting ready to blow snow on the school hill when i was leaving today said that they were aiming to open the park by mid-morning friday... i guess that means they are blowing thursday night and shaping in the morning...

Mt. Mikovits will be opening up Friday night for skiing and riding. All three trials will be open with hopefully a few rails for your pleasure.
 
i dunno what im doing this friday, i only have class till 9 so i could come home and ski blue for a long time, but i think im gonna ski roundtop on the way home till like 6 then just come home then and ski blue sat and sun, but i will def be there at some point trevor

miller, you dont wanna ski roundtop friday. with how much snow is being called for, you want to be at blue. who cares about park when there is fresh snow in the trees off lazy. that, and your car is going nowhere unless you leave thursday night. i should have you come over and plow my driveway with your front bumper.
 
trevor you can suck a dick i like my car and it still kicks the shit outta all those goddamn hondas, and justo the snow is supposed to stop friday around noon, so i have to wait till it at least slows down to get home so why not just ski while im waiting?

I think my suburban killed a honda the other night. I didn't see anything but I heard why sounded like a farty whiney noise and then a crunch. So when I got back to school I looked under the car and there was some weird red R decal and some APC racing stickers on my axle. Oh well...

so Blue was pretty amazing today skiing. skiing in 10 inches of powder through the trees until the park opened...i think paradise is going to be open tomorrow too
 
Yeah, it was cool... to bad I was on my park board and should have been on my PR's. I did not stay to see the park open, there were too many people on the 3 trails that were open. I will be in the park all day tomorrow.

i was there today and saw 129083 people on twins.. some dude gave me a sheet abotu the freeride program they are steeting up adn i think tis an AMAZING idea.. hope to go up again next weekend
 
yeah man lots of kids on twins, not many know how to use em. thats why we are gettin that program going so hopefully the kids will show a bunch of interest.
 
Thats Ok that there are alot of kids that don't know how to use their twins. At least they can talk about how they do, I like listening to them because I sold my iPod and don't listen to music anymore. I like hearing about how I didn't clear the knuckle, or how I was sloppy on the box. Its like music, but better.
