Anyone up in collingwood can tell me if blue will be open from the 27th on? and will they have a rail park? I'm dieing here, I have to ski at Caledon, and its HORRIBLE!! But if anyone wants to come here and ride our 3 hills that are open, give me a shout.

Jaime, go ride Louis there's about 12 features set up in the park, and there's even more stuff open than when I was there last week.

I'm happy to say that the snow gods seem to finally be in an agreeable mood and snow is finally falling from the sky here at Blue Mountain.

I'm happy to report that thanks to the efforts of our snowmaking and operations team we will be opening for skiing and snowboarding tomorrow, December 28th (weather and conditions permitting).

Ticket pricing is as follows: Day $25, Day/Night $30, Night $20 (all tickets +GST)

from what i understand we will have Easy Street and Smart Alec open and then will open more terrain as weather and conditions allow.

i haven't heard a park update yet... i will try to find out for you... my guess would be that it will be a couple of days before we get a mini park back up and running....

Sittin at Blue right now and as of 2pm this afternoon they had no guns past Easy Street from what i saw... the guns were on smart alec, tranq, memory and over that way nothing towards the park from what i saw.

and its only sitting around zero so all the natural snow from the other day has vanished again!

Cole, quit the shit talk. While you were riding Blue's 2 runs, i was riding MSLM's multiple rails and one jump. I'll be at Blue after new years though.

i just heard that blue mtn had to lay off a bunch of staff ebcause they werent sure that they were going to open this year.

that wouldnt surprise me knowing the size of the snow school, number of lifties and other seasonal staff for maintance, snow making and everything else!

yha i heard it on CBC radio .... shitty, but i have faith hopefully they can open if it gets coold enough to blow snow.

ya but if it gets cold enough will there be enough people to maintain the snow blowers ?(considering that they just lay off 1400 staff)
