Blue Hills

I went in the morning from 9-1. I think i saw you on the way out.

Today sucked. The park was closed for like 2 hours for grooming then the grom snowboarder camp thing started racing on it and they kept the jumps and rails were all blocked off.

yea i went and it was SHIT they didnt open anything up. and management got mad at me for hitting the quarter pipe which was open, then a ton of boarders hit it and they were hiking and didnt get a word out of the management. desribe what you saw and i can tell you if it was me or not

I drive by everyday and get a very quick glimpse of the bottom of the hill.. it's really weird but I've seen a green paneled down rail.. i think they may have just re painted the one that was blue? it'd be so dope if they got a new rail.

Just got in from BH. The set up is:

From the top of the park (about half way up)

medium jump

Battle box

kicker w/small gap up to butter box(snow) with choice of urban(round) down rail, flat box or flat rail.

quarter pipe at bottom with a small corrugated just before it.

Pretty fun set up. BH guys were maintaining; salt etc during the day.

really? I ski'd all night with no pass and no one said anything.... I was the only one hiking all night too.... i thought the setup was def legit though

next year they are supposed to have just a park pass you can buy for cheaper....at least thats what they are saying....but i was over there the other night under a light at the bottom of the bunny hill trying to film for this silly contest where you have to run and jump into your bindings and i got asked for my pass...i wasnt even doing anything...not even really skiing...it was so gay

Wow I can't believe I didnt get nabbed... no one said shit to me... I raked almost every feature.. so maybe thats why... They should put a handle tow in that would be so sick.

Just got back from BH set up as folows:

From the top by the old j bar shack

Small corrugated-ride on

Flat box-ride on

two barrell bonks

Very nice booter a bigger than last week-more kick (not open today. Only hit 3 times by Leland and BH crew. salted and saved for wed.)

Battle box

Choice small gapped down urban (round) rail or flat rail with small side step up

Quarter pipe at bottom.

Note the BH crew was working all afternoon raking, salting etc. park is in perfect condition for wed.

Props to the crew...nice job!

i know they still got a bunch of snow left, esp where that park was.. they'd definitely have enough to set some shit up for hiking but i could see the managament being really homo about that.. or even the park crew doing it but not let anyone else hit it.. i live 5 mins from blue hills so i'll go scope that soon.

FYI last year we went after they closed and set up a backyard rail on the beginner/magic carpet area. Sessioned for about an hour til someone saw us and immediately got booted out.

the blue's open again. dinker of an 8 ft. down bar and a lil barrel jib with mad kids filming 5 foot long corrogated tubes, it was comical.
the 2 good rails they had last season (long down bar and dfd) arent up yet...

my lil bro has been reppin big blue hard, he is the kid in all red who does gay foot trick things. but how legit is it truely, i hear they got a 40 foot jump up now

pretty legit, they have some decent sized rails and yes a jump, maybe 25 feet but i think theyre still working on it.

i was there today. they have the cannon rail and the top big jump is hittable and if you get speed from the very top you can easily gap it. its a 42 foot gap where the cannon is only 32 feet. the two small jibs at the bottom, a tire and corrugated pipe are really stupid but still semi-fun. its worth a trip up there. reccommend 1-5 because the lines are shorter. SWEET POW DAY MENGS

i was there sunday. they had a decant park, but not all of their features where set up. They had 2 decant size jumps, the larger of which never opend and the 2nd was either a 20 or a 25. this led down to the battleshi box, then the down rail. to the propane tank which was set up like a spine.

how was the jump? was it a nice jump with good pop and flow or was it not that well built? and how much snow do they have?
