i just got home from a very interesting day of golfing. we were doing fine until the 14th hole, i wentr in reverse and my friend decided to throw it into forward while im still flooring it in reverse. it made a grinding noise, and a really bad odor was emitted from the golf cart. we were like fuck that and kept going. we were rounding the corner to the 18th and my other buddy decides to do the same thing, except throw it into reverse while going forward. grinding noise again, except much worse. the golf cart started smoking, and when he tried to move the cart niothing happened. we ran for it and left the carts there and left. they dont have our names down or anything because i gave them fake name, phone #, and address when i signed for the carts. i dont think theyll be able to get us but would we have to pay if they did??

Hahaha I love golf carts but ehh I think you have insurence for that so u will be ok. Tho I hope they will cover that. But I have done that so many times and it never brake down

yeah we always do that too, and we never had any problems like this but this was the first time we went to this golf course and they had fucked up golf carts. you had to hold the gas ffor about 15 secs before it would start going. the speed was either nothing or max, there was no in the middle even if you just tapped the pedal. the carts were really old you could tell and mine was leaking fluids every once in a while during the course of playing. oh well hopefully their insurance covers their shitty golf carts, but i doubt theyd ever find me anyways.

''oh well hopefully their insurance covers their shitty golf carts, but i doubt theyd ever find me anyways.''

That made me laugh:D But were it carts on gas or electro carts?

golf carts are awesome. Me and my cousin were mad high and we drove one directly into a tree by accident. It wallrode the tree, and then got stuck vertically, we had to bail before it flipped on us. I had a huge bruise on my stomach from the steering wheel for over a week.

it is really fun putting it in reverse when ur goin forward, but i dont do it when im goin fast and i dont do it often because the golf course knows me well

here's a trick you'll all enjoy. when you're going down a steep hill pop the cart into neutral, the governor on the cart doesn't affect neutral so you fuckin fly to the point where you may actually need to use the brakes. as far as the busting the cart issue, you can do whatever you want to it because the golf course is liable for it once you sign the paper (as long as you put your real name) i know this is true because i work at a golf course

lol, one time i was golfing at a really nice club and i was flooring it, and i was going up a tiny hill looking for my ball and out of no where the hill dies and the cart falls like 4 feet into a sand trap and rolls over, i was thrown out off the cart and landed in the sand, bad scary experience

Ive had some dumb ass kids do that at the course i work at and the times we have caught them we have made them pay for them...many a time i have been to court against people like that and have won every time. hopefully you paid cash.

Doing spins in the golf cart is so awesome!!!

But yea they have no transmissions but I hope it was electric so burnt the belt. But u could also have damaged the whole thing where the chain is on. If thats messed up it will cost you hella lot of money!
