Hey, I was just in the ski shop today and saw some Blizzard skis, I guess they're huge in the UK and Austria and just released in th U.S. Has anybody skied them? Are they any good? Do they have anything like twintips? Or anything for freestyle?

you can find them in Canada although popularity isn't huge but you do see them on the hill. they have TT X80 & PP X80 which serve as their two twin tip models i believe. i haven't heard anything bad about them but then again I haven't heard very much about them either.

 
we have them in our rental shop and the top sheets and tips don't hold up very well. and i know they have at least on twin tip, possibly more.

hmm...a quick visit to their site shows that the TT X80 was pulled this year. they put their Freestyle stuff under a 'Fun Section' and 2 of the 4 'skis' listed there are skiboards. One is a non-twin tip and the PP X80 is the only twin tip they have. and it comes in a 160cm or a 150 cm which is sorta funky.

 
their not too bad, my dads old ski company produced skis out of that factory

Blizzard makes a kick ass racing ski, they're huge over in Europe. The racing skis they make just fucking romp on hardpack...the company still has some to be desired as far as other aspects of skiing go, such as freestyle.

 
I have the fr-18 which is a twin from 01-02, i think its kickass...this years model was the 7.2

I have a pair of the T X80's in a 160, just for fucking around. They are an OK ski. Pretty soft though, but they have held up alright.

 
apple mountain has had blizzard rental skis since last year. My friends sister has them. She got them because they matched her coat. Theyre really cheap though.

My girlfriend told me to shove my skis up my ass
