blink182

this was the original thread in the media and art forum and after 4 long years it finalay got a reply

well after waiting all of these time for some replies i think i can spend some time to come up with a complety pointless response

blink WAS really good punk... then they made there new album and they went alll down hill..... just like green day

I just straight out don't like them.

They were a band I listened to in middle school and I thought they were extreme, then I learned the cold hard truth. Actually it wasn't cold, nor hard, I just realized they blew.

Enema of the State was good, then I stopped liking them.

I've been listening to Green Day since I was in 3rd grade, and am a huge fan. They basically paved the way for bands like Blink, and Blink totally sold out. They were more interested in money than anything else.

I bought American Idiot the day it was released, and loved it untill it started getting radio play. Radio completely ruined that album for me. I dont see how they've gone pop. Every album that they put out sounds a bit different, but each one is better in someway. They're progressing, and showing a lot of maturity as far as their music goes. Who would've expected a 9 minute song from these guys? What they did with American Idiot was amazing, and although it's getting over played, i think it'll be one of the best albums ever.

im pretty sure they never broke up, they just quit playing shows for a while, in the July 05 issue of AP Travis Barker said Blink was still a band

me too. i still like blink, however. i dont really care how hardcore they are, or if they sold out, i just like some of their new stuff. however, the best blink cd, in my opinion, is either dude ranch or cheshire cat.

I got american idiot when it first came out, just cause some radio station was up at the mountain and we took all the free shizz we could.. After two weeks it was old, and i wasnt exactly pupmed when I got tickets to see them for my birthday, cause the friggin' place was packed with twelve year old girls. Just shows how they've changed and become "hop"

did anyone notice the crap their newest album is? how is it remotely anything like the good blink182 we all know? TOO PROGRESSIVE!
