Blind skiers

blind skiers have the most balls of any skiers out there. try closing your eyes for 5 seconds while skiing. it is some scary shit.

these racers did that at whiteface to try and naturally feel the rhythm but the were skiing in a line so they crashed into each other, skis flew everywhere fuck was said about 100 times

i tried skiing one ski too. just think, they don't have the other leg to balance with either. i have to give every disabled skier props for even atempting skiing. if i become sidabled, i will try and figure out ways for them to freestyle ski. maybe a harness or something. i did see a guy in warren miller go off a 20 foot table in one of those sled things and land it. awsome and inspiringt

i forgot the mag but it was a 2 page picture of a guy in one of those handicap ski chairs looking up at a huge park and jump and over the top it said progression... i thought it was real deep and cool

I saw this couple with size 210 skis that had two sets of bindings, tandem skiing looks kinda fum.

When you see a blind skier or someone on a sit ski you know they don't ski because its cool or for money, they do it because they love the sport. I think everyone should be disabled for one week and see how it feels.
