Blew last night with my Hago!

I just finished mounting my Hago gun in some 3 inch PVC. I flattened the hose barb for more of a fan spray of air. I blew for about 1 or 2 hours and it was 27 wetbulb. 30 degrees and 60% humidity. It was working great and I was running 75 psi air then I went down to 60 with a very dry nuc. mist. I have no real measurement of how much snow I made because there was about 10 mph gusts that were blowing my mist all over. It seemed to have made more snow behind the gun than in front of it! About 3 inches in some places and 1 in others. Tonight it is supposed to get very cold so I may blow tonight. Then it will be below marginal snow making conditions and I should yield much more snow. Also this time, I had absolutely no rime ice(ice on nuc. nozzle). Im still trying to figure out how much water to use in the nuc. mist also. Does a wetter nuc. mist mean wetter snow? Does a dryer one mean dryer snow?

IT most have been really windy if you had more snow behind the gun..... hahahahehehe!!!!

Well, drier and wet nuc. does not really make drier or wet snow.... The temp and the amount of water coming out of the 4002 nozzles do...

You just have to find the amount of nuc. that makes the best snow.....

Hope this helps

Daniel
