i was thinking about getting blends in a 172 and was wondering how good they would be for mostly park and screwing around on groomers in the east...i ride alot of park...i was wondering how stiff and how heavy these skis are
 
i have them and i think they are heavy as balls not bad for park all mtn but im kinda biased on my thoughts of the blends i fucking hate them they delamed on me
 
I think they're sick. I'd recommend them all the way. A little stiff if you're not hitting big jumps or ripping groomers hard, but a lot of people like stiffer skis. I personally love soft skis, but got these last year and was stoked.
 
they are quit stiff but great if ur a bigger rider, like stiff skis, or put lots of power into ur skis and tricks
 
eh 90% park on the east??? idk about the blends they really are a true all mtn ski idk if i were you and i didnt hate line i would try out a more park specific ski like the anthems or invaders... but i really cant vouch for this years quality of those
 
my blends were the sickest skis ever. i thought they were pretty light, they have crazy amounts of pop. i think they are the best ski i have ridden by far. i put the through so much abuse. they were delaminating though which really didnt affect the ski at all. i ended up breaking them after a year and a half(last weak-ish) there are pictures in my profile. i loved them so much im sure i will have another pair in the future.
 
blends are dope. i'm about to pick up a pair myself. they're definitely stiffer than invaders. i'm switching from anthems. stiff skis are just way more baller for hitting big jumps and charging around the mountain.
 
I just got a pair of 172 blends.. There pretty light,, not all that soft.. you can butter them a little if your strong.. But they have killer pop to them on the jumps.. but i found the best thing about them is how good they land, whether off a cliff or jump, they can pop you right on to your feet even if your backseat
 
blends rip. I use mine as an all-mountain ski. Mounted +2cm from midsole which is still really far back, so not my park ski. They handle chunk, crud, hard pack and powder really really well. I prefer them to the prophet 90, a bit more lively, snappier. I weigh 145 and am 5'10" for reference and ski the 179.
