Bleaching Ski Boots

So, I left my ski boots in the thule for about a week after skiing in rain for 2 days (they were soaked as shit and moldy). Usually to freshen up my boots i just throw in some baking soda in the shell for a couple days and wash the liners.
well this time they are super bad so i literally filled them up with straight bleach. Is this going to fuck up my boot?
they are full tilts if that makes a difference.

I do.
If the question was why didn't you, it is probably because last weekend was a fucking gong show (it was my birthday.) I left the condo without my jacket, iphone,gloves, and toque. Locked my keys in the car and got it stuck in the ditch and then i locked my videocamera in a locker and forgot about it.
but yeah I know I'm an idiot but my question is are my bleach saturated boots going to be fucked when i go back to the shed?
like has anyone tried this before? the boots literally have visible mold on them.

well I already did it so this is a problem. I am pretty sure that the bleach came in a plastic bottle so maybe this is plastic safe bleach or somthing. I am kind of more worried about it chewing away at my liner I think.

Not to be a shit, but it might have been better to post this thread prior to filling your tilts up with bleach. Call me nutty! My guess is that it's going to compromise the plastic, you going to land hard and your boot is going to shatter. FYI, someone made a joke about using vinegar, but that's probably the best solution that won't destroy your boots. Straight vinegar kills like 90 % of all mold. Don't ask me how I know that, but also just putting them in a place that is completely dry will get rid of anything else. If you live in a really humid area, by this stuff called Damprid and stick a cup full of it in each boot. That will solve the problem. You my friend, now have a really good chance of pulling a T-Hall without having to hit Chad's.

you=retard

bleach only comes in plastic containers.

but the bleach prob deteriorated the material of the liners. so, basically you're fucked.

PLEASE tell me you diluted the bleach.

Undiluted bleach will DEFINITELY eat away at the liner, that is why there is a massive "corrosive" warning on the label. The instruction label on a bottle of bleach will tell you how to dilute it appropriately. Tell me you read that.

If you did, yeah, you're probably fine. If not, lessons learned, go grab yourself some new liners.

no I didn't. also went out last night and forgot about them. Lesson Learned. I can't get new liners till Feb but these might make it till then.

Nice so it looks like this is the top google hit for searching "Bleaching Ski Boots". If you found this page by googling and want to know what happens when you pour bleach into the liners of your ski boots then you have found the right page.
DO NOT POUR BLEACH INTO YOUR BOOTS. It literally eats away at the liner and foam below it. I would recommend taking the liners out and washing them with something less strong. Then pour DILUTED bleach into the shells. Of course the obvious answer is do not let your boots get moldy in the first place.
