they could have done the same buy-one-donate-one thing with any kind of shoes that dont look exactly the same as toms. at least that way it would seem more like they cared about the donations than just pretending to be nice in an effort to wipe a smaller company off the map. its the difference between skechers saying "wow thats a great idea that helps lots of people, tom, lets try and get all the major shoe comanies to do that so we can make the world a better place" and saying, "wow thats a great business strategy, tom, we are going to take that to try and make more money from it than you can."
