Blah blah college blah blah

i know that, but i've looked at davis and i really can't see myself there. i need a little bit more around me, and as far as a town goes, boulder is good, san francisco is a city with everything, as is LA, and Reno is just close to home and friends and skiing. And...unless UC Davis is completely different from all the other UC's I probably wouldn't be able to get in.

i would be happy for my parents to send me off to a nice school. i have to pay for all of my college so im stuck at weber state university for now.

umass is pretty dope. not toooo close to skiing but sweet deal for in-state, good school, and loads of stuff to distract you until it snows. and the schoolwork can be as hard or as easy as you wanna make it. I applied to UVM too but it is hella expensive for what it is. not that its a bad school, if I lived in VT probably woulda gone there. But if you live in MA umass is dope. And it's like 50 minutes to mt snow and a bit more to like okemo and killington and shit, which is at least an improvement over the white mountains I was rockin last season. And for what brad said about other amherst schools, unless you're really smart A) it will be mad hard to get in and B) you'll be burried in your books while I'm out skiing. And my friend who goes to amherst college is thinkin about transferring to the commonwealth college at umass...

USF is really chill and fairly easy to get into. my friend is going there and loves it. plus it's only 3 hours from tahoe.

i'm in the same situation as you... I really liked boulder and luckily my parents support it. i havent seen uvm but i have heard good things and im gonna apply there and take a look. also i think im gonna apply to utah, which would pretty much be a safety. utah seems sick locationwise, but i have heard so much shit about it i dont even know if its worth it. i guess college really is what you make of it, but I have heard many negative things about the U and i don't know if its worth applying.
