will it have tables this year? I heard that they dont make them because if insurance? but they make spines and tons of rails?

I want to ski in the summer at hood or whistler but camp is expensive and doesnt last long enough. Hood's public park has tables but costs a lot(summer pass around $700?), whistler summer pass is cheaper but no tables.

There's no 'h' in Blackcomb.

Well...there weren't tables around for a while, but there are tables in the Game Cube park and in the Chipmunk park on Whistler this winter. This summer though - dunno yet. Not sure that the park guys have really planned ahead that far yet. Natedawg, you know?

Yes to the others though, lots of rails and spines and a pipe.

they make pretty good sized hips in the public park on the glacier. there are also a bunch of nice rails

well if you suck and or are a begginner you can go 1 foot off a hip to one of the sides and be fine and stick it. Where as if you suck and or are a begginner and try and clear a 30 foot table there is more risk of injury than a 1 foot air to the side of a hip...

Or if you are being silly you completely overshoot the first hip in the public park last summer.

I hope they have tables this summer too. 2 months of rails gets a little boring. I would be willing to sign a waiver and pay an extra 10- 20 dollars.

they wont i went to hood and whistler publics this past summer, whistler pretty much sucked one or 2 rails, and a spine nothing worth payin money for, shit not even 10 bucks, the public line was an hour wait, got 2 runs in, i mean sure the vibe is great im goin to high north, anyway hood has a great public run,, a long groomer+high speed lift+75º weather=amazing, the park is ok a nice pipe, and a nice 30 ft step down, but u gotta hike a lot, not lift accesible, also a rail or two, i would go to hood cause it dont take an hour to get up to the top, and cause its fast lifts and more fun, but the camps at whistler are fuckin sick!

jus go into the camp parks, that wat my freinds and i did for a week up there, no one said a word the whole week to us

Hips are 'safer' than tables because you can check your landing before you jump.

are you guys saying that there are public parks? so i can just fly to like hood or whistler and stay in a shitty hotel and still get to ski a park in the summer without paying the ridiculous summer camp prices?

yes, ive been to whistler's and hood's summer parks, hood's is deffinetly better. But the camps are a lot easier to sneak into at whistler. You just have to be in a group of people and they dont say anything, you cant really session them alone. You just gotta be smart about it.

Really so you just head up to the camp park with the campers and ride. Wow, good times. Plus what could the consequence be if you got caught?

theyd probably be like hey get outta here, then you would leave

if you go during the last few weeks of operation there is way more to do. for example, camp of champions basically became the public park for the last 2 weeks and there was an amazing 70ft. table on the top portion that everyone was sessioning. my tip to you is that camps are way more willing to let you use their stuff if you're filming. if you aren't filming you don't stand much of a chance.

I dont remember COC having a 70ft table. The only jump there was was the melted qp turned into an aerial jump.

on the whistler site is says the lifts and shit only are in operation from 12-3.... but when i went to high north they were open at like 9,

wtf? cant you not get up on the glacier until like 12 if you dont have a pass from a camp?

^i'm pretty sure that initial upload for public skiing starts at 11 am. And no, you can't get up any earlier.
