Blackcomb/Whistler connect with gondola from peak to peak

i was reading tws magazine and they had an article in there about Blackcomb/Whistler. they said that they are going to make a gondola from a peak of Blackcomb to another peak of Whistler. they said its going to be the tallest gondola and its only going to have 4 towers to support it. it will able transport at least 2000 plus people per hour. they are making it so you can ride pow at Blackcomb in the mourning and then go ride so park in the afternoon. im not shur but it could be the other way around?

is this true? i pretty shur it is. GNAR
 
dude this is old old old old news man. the story was around like last summer.

yeah mad old news. but its bullshit. extra money on top of your pass for it, and half the fun is skiing down to the valley to change mountains.

and its Whistler/Blackcomb. Blackcomb/Whistler sounds so fucking awkward it makes my ears bleed
 
yea they were building it this summer, pain in the ass, the chair kept stopping so bulldozers could go through... i mean itll make it easier but its kinda pointless...cool ride though
