does anyone have them, im getting a new phone this week and i think im gonna get one

what do you guys who have them think about them

i had a blackberry curve, it was the sickest phone i've ever seen. not as flashy as an apple product though.

yeah i have a curve, its a work phone. i like it quite a lot. my friend has a 3g iphone, its cool too, but im content with my curve. I had another one before this it was a real brick, though. the curve is nice because its not too bulky.

i have the blackberry world edition with verizon wireless and im supper happy with it. Only complaint is some web pages could work a bit better with the mobile web thats the only place where the iphone has the blackberry beat is web brousing.

Wait till the new OS comes out, v4.5. I have a beta version, it cleans up the BB UI soooo nicely. More visually appealing and the web browsing is much better. Plus html emails among other things. It's awesome.

curve man, shits dank. Im runnnin one myself, no problems at all...........beats the iphone by a mile

dude... my first pearl was a trooper and a half. i had it for like 4 months when for some reason it deleted all of my texts. this wasnt a big deal, but i wanted to know if it was possibly and indication of something else, so i called 611. they were extrememly helpful, and whereas i was just calling for a quick fix of that particular problem, they offered to send me a completely new phone. obviously, i accepted, thinking all pearls were as good as the one i had. my new one had to be sent back in like 2 weeks. it would randomly not send texts, not allow me to type certain words in texts sometimes (yeah really, what the fuck is that?) and some more little shit, so i sent that in. the one i have now sucks too. it wont allow me to download opera mini (download it if you havent already), and its just generally a fuck up of a phone. i want a God damn curve.

My parents both have Pearl 8100s, and they LOVE them. Theyre great if you want to use your phone for email and browsing, but suck for normal txting, I just hate the qwerty keyboard.

I have the world edition, I cannot recomend any other phone.

They are not wicked flashy or fancy with touch screens, but not once have I EVER been let down by this phone.

They are by far the best phones out now function and feature wise.

I had a Pearl for a while. The pearl ball stopped working after 6 months or so of work. I dropped the phone on concrete more times than I can count. As a phone, it was utterly fantastic. It's an incredibly intuitive UI and I had crystal clear reception. However, I was using my phone for work and from time to time receiving emails at 3AM telling me to go into the office or press releases during ski trips. After a while, I grew to regard my black berry with contempt but that was more my job than the phone.

as a person without a blackberry curve I would definatley get one they look sick have the full keyboard for texting and feel good much better then my motorolla q

i have a blackberry world edition and i'm pretty happy with it. i'm definately not using it to its full potential quite yet, but i'm a huge fan of brickbreaker

my dad works for RIM, and theres going to be some sick stuff coming soon, so sick he can't tell(lame). But you can't go wrong with the newer models of the curve, or heck even older models of the curve.

Chances are it has already been leaked....RIM isn't the best at being secretive, they do have some cool stuff coming soon either way.

I love my Pearl personally, even if it is kinda on the fritz lately. I'm about to warranty it. If you are good with technology at all though you can get tons and tons of use out of a blackberry. They can do so much more than most people think. If I had to choose again I would get the curve, the pearl is just a little condensed for what I want it for. Honestly though, I can't wait for the Bold, that thing is going to be amazing. I just hope it isn't going to be ridiculously expensive.

the main idea for the blackberry is for work purpopse ( emails and such) but i have seen so many girls in my school getting them and have them i think its kinda stupid. are you just gonna be texting alot ?

exactly dude. blackberrys are expensive and you hve to have a data plan with them which costs money per month. if you are a college student or are in the work force and are constantly checking emails and other websites for school/job then yes a blackberry is a good purchase. lately blackberrys have just become the new fad and i see 14 year old girls texting on them at the mall... they are sick phones dont get me wrong but you just gotta ask yourself if you would be using it to its full extent or if you just want the newest coolest shit.

iPhone it up. The new one sucks a cock, but I have an 8g first gen unlocked and jailbroken and I absolutely love it. Since its unlocked I have T-Mobil and I can use my phone on local networks around the world just by changing the sim card. Most importantly I basically have mario kart on my phone, fuck brickbreaker.

I have a curve and love it. If I could have, I would have waited for the BB Bold coming out soon. There is also a touch screen coming out in the next little bit called the thunder I believe...i like the real keyboard though.

But they kick ass.
