I love mine. Got a facebook app and a google maps app. The google one is really sweet, it is like mapquest/gps combined. Jivetalk is sweet for AIM if you want to pay for it.

so i was at the verizon store cus ive had my phone for 2 years and for those non verizon people, youu get major discounts after having a phone for two years. yea so i was there checkin out the phones and i saw the pearl and i thought it was dope with all the apps and key board. so i go and ask the lady at the desk and she tells me that i have to pay 30$ a month just to blackberry so i didnt get it. but then after i thought that that was bull shit so is it true?

ya its like an extra $24 or something for the full text messaging, email and internet.

no you have to pay for the blackberrty service to get it to work I believe. So it looks like you would be paying an additional $14 a month on top of what you pay now.
