Black swan

Well, chronic schizophrenia does have a tendency to emerge in a person's early 20s, given the right circumstances, such as stress, anxiety, and physiological predisposition to it.

Stupid iPhone...I know lots of people in their 20s who live at home. I feel like this was more so the product of an overbearing mother (not needing a caretaker), which ultimately contributed to her psychotic breakdown. The throwing up was definitely just the anxiety, since it's pretty normal for a girl to refuse junk food before a performance.

lol i saw this too. everyone was looking into it really deep hahahah.

but seriously, i wanna see this movie so fucking bad but my friends are all bein assholes about it and wont go see it. i really wanna see it in theaters because i enjoyed requiem for a dream, and it'd be cool to see a similar movie on the big screen. also, i wanna be ripped out of my mind.

holy fuck i loved it. im not much of a fan of scary movies/thrillers but i loved Black Swan. i definitely jumped a few times but it was dope.

i am right here. Also anyone who actually goes to see this movie for the lesbian scene is a retard. Just one mans thoughts

Bumping this because I just saw it. This movie had some special moments but it did fall short in many respects.

The acting, story concept and cinematography (what little I know about this) were great, but it was so bloody predictable. Also, I felt like I was watching Fight Club for hipsters.

Any of you saying you were completely mindfucked for hours and even days after viewing are seriously taking the piss. Yeah going crazy would suck, as if we didn't already know that. There weren't any crazy loose ends that really kept you thinking once the film was over either.

That being said, it was one of the better films of the last year and probably is in with a shout for best picture (I don't think it would be my pick though), I still need to see King's Speech and 127 Hours. The four other people I went with disliked the movie.

you saw it wrong. I dont want to sound like a dick but the movie is not about what you see but about what it means. dont think litteral. its not about a girl going crazy its about a girl striving to get what she wants and in the process killing her white swan to become the black swan who has what she wants.

while she goes crazy. dude. it's still not a movie to end all movies. i didn't like it one bit, but i can respect that it was extremely well made.

the crazyness is somewhat litteral but mostly to show shes struggling but especialy to show her struggle between darkness and white which she eventualy kills

I saw all that and wasn't phased. Sorry you're such a simpleton m8, there was nothing mind blowing in this film.

downloading this now, cant wait to see it.if its anything like shutter island where its a huge mindfuck, It should be good

I think Fight Club is the Fight Club for hipsters. I agree on the predictability front, but I think part of that is that the film is operating in the same form as swan lake so it sort of has to follow a formal logic that is predictable- I think it would have been cool if it had undone that logic somewhat, but it would have just been a different movie altogether. The way it was structured was its own immersion into that particular narrative form. You just gotta accept it as a necessarily predictable film about technical perfection and precision.

just finished watching it, and some parts left me thinking wtf?well the whole thing did actually, i guess the ending is one of those open to interpretation kinda deals.
just like shutter island.

Watched it on the plane so some of the scenes i felt a bit awkward watching with so many people around.
