Black Spray Paint

Bout to buy some skis with a legit terrible graphic. i honestly don't even care if they look good, I just don't like being pissed everytime I look down. What if just bought some black spray paint and just painted over the graphic. Like no sanding, clear coat or anything like that. Just black spray paint. 1. Would the paint stay on you think? And 2, would the new texture slow the ski down? I know its a dumb question but it is what it is.
 
Ferdinand Dahl did that on his k2 skis and it looks sick as fuck. Not sure how long it stays on tho
 
I’d sand it first and maybe try to seal it with something. Regardless of what you do it will chip off in time
 
it'll work fine but it will definitely chip as you ski them. and no it won't affect anything, but i'd be careful not to get any paint on your edges or bases (tape em)
