Black Skiers

^That would be Nicky Adams. Nicky, JL, and of course Rick Hess are the only black pros that I know of in skiing right now.
 
i shouldnt even comment on such a pointless thread....

BUT

there is a black dude on the Vail Freeride Team that kills it, sw cork 7's and double and tripe sw ups on rails.
 
everyone knows that the black athlete (in general) is far more gifted than the white. just try to make an nfl team of all white players. as soon as skiing, and hockey for that matter, become open to a broader spectrum of people, black skiers will most certainly dominate the sport. just look at that one ncaa coach recently...they asked him what the biggest advancement in ncaa football has been and he stated "the black athlete".
 
i dont think thatll happen, cuz football and basketball and stuff are part of that sort of culture, skiing is very foreign from the places that are mostly black, like big cities, and i would doubt that black skiers would dominate skiing
 
i was in vail and there is always that huge booter after the flat rail, like in the open, its the last jump. and there was one kid doin huuuuge sw cork 10s off it. and then i saw him take all his gear off in the lodge and he was black, and he was the steeziest skier i have ever seen in person.
 
I knew a black dude that could ski once. I don't see them on the slopes often though. I heard somewhere that black people don't like the cold.
 
2 answer your question... no there are no black skiers... that nicky dude is just a rollerblader that like 2 throw skis on and rep. i think that makes him a poser not 2 mention we r in rival gangs
 
At the end of "In search of steeze" by coefficient drag, there is a shot of a black guy who slides a rail and looks pretty good
 
nicky is sick at just about everything. didn't he medal in snowboarding at the xgames to a while back? i know for a fact he did in rollin.
 
he was wearing the baggiest outerwear i will every see, and was wearing a green jersey under his jacket that was down to his knees, i couldnt tell what the fuck it was till he took off his jacket. altho it sounds rediculous, he made it look good, and he could ski to back it up. not everyone could pull it off, or anyone other than him for that matter...but still. it was ill. true story. and then i found five dollars.

ive only seen one black skier and he was wearing jeans a crack hat and a patriots puffy jacket with glasses.
 
all of my ghetto friends dont like the cold...

except for my man Reggie McPherson. but he has yet to make it onto snow.
 
yeah i hyave seen a couple in my day but they all have rentals skis and poles with the bright yellow on the handles and on the end. and they sport the snowplow on w/e hill they can
 
we are talking about the same dude, pretty big guy, everything he wears is down to his knees.....I saw him abasin early season, breck in december, and then once vails park was open he was there all the time.......effin kills it.
 
there are a couple days a year where a black ski club takes over at sierra-at-tahoe...they're all cool and actually appreciate us reppin' the steeze.
