Black Skiers

I was sitting here playing some Tenacious D on my guitar and then I realized something: I have never seen a black guy ski before. Is it just Alaska, or are there no black skiers anywhere???

So then he fell...and I laughed.
 
I mean my friend said there's this one black snowboarder dude that's like the only black skier/snowboarder in the city, but other than that, no skiers.

there is a snowboarder at my park that is pretty good at it you hardly see him fall, last year he was being pulled by a snowmobiel and gapped his deck it was nuts

Nicky Adams maybe? he was badass. and this one time at our ski area we saw a black guy fall into some mud while skiing. he was sooo excited to be in the mud, that he wanted someone to take his picture. and i too, wish i was black. how sweet owuld it be to be a black skier. you would actually be allowed to waer XL pants. and maybe carry a piece.

there were some SICK black skiers in whistler this summer, like in there 40s, doing muguls, it was crazy. one rode on these skis, but it was like 2 skis attatched together to make one ski, so crazy...

And it makes me see, every puff that I breathe, potent herbs and leaves could ease the world . . .

So, We roll and smoke and choke and- pass and toke and hand it back to ya.

thats tanner anderson. he was at our local big air comp. i think he skis at park city but i could be wrong. hes so rad. he told the announcer to say 'yeah, this is the black form of tanner hall.' and hes pretty rad. i think that pic was a rodeo 7

This threads title is fucking laim. Who the fuck cares what your skin color is under your helmet. All that matters is that you are enjoying God's gift of snow.

There is way to many bullshit labels being applied to skiers today. We don't need this 'blackskier' or 'whiteskier' or 'yellowskier' or 'redskier' or this 'tanningbedskier' crap. We are 'SKIERS' that is all that matters.

Sam Bullington is an amazing skier. I skied with him every once in a while 5 or 6 years ago before he quit skiing at Bridger, and he was really good back then. He was doing a comp up at Bridger 2 years ago and was throwing d-spin 7's off a 2 foot jump into moguls...and wasting everybody else down the course in the process.
 
I very well could be wrong but wasn't there a black pro skiier that was a pro rollerblader then switched over... I could be wrong though
 
there was a black pro skier, the only black pro skier from back before johny mossleys madtrix, can't recall his name, im not quite that oldschool
