I don't see too many black skiers out there, I was wonderin why that is, and if they're are any out there that do, lemme know

the only thing wrong with snowboarders is that they snowboard

im 50% black (mulado) I don't know of any pros, but some day there will be. I run into a lot of racism on the hill too...I had to set 4 or 5 people straight this year who thought they could call me names

Bunch of the Miami Hurricane football players went skiing when they came out here to so cali to play nebraska in the rose bowl. It was pretty hilarious seeing a 300 lb big black linebacker snowplowing and falling down. The pains it took for him to get up...

someone said that dash long was black a long time ago. but if you watch a ski movie, you'll clearly see he's white.

and i've seen some black guys up on the hills, some are good snowboarders.

i actually never seen a black guy or girl skiing until this year, i went skiing by myself and there was a black snowboarder there, he was really tryin to do rails a lot and he was pretty nice, like askin me for help and stuff on how to do em, even though he was a snowboarder, he thought it was pretty sweet that i was greasing the rail, and i thought it was pretty cool that he was askin for advice.

lineskier and I a couple years ago were ot our hill early on a weekday and everyone else there was black. And they called us names kind of wierd cuase they came on a bus I have no problem with it though.

where does all the white go when the snow melts?
 
I saw the entire CU football team skiing this year as a teambuilding exercise, extremely funny. It was cool to be about 100 times better at a sport than these amazing athletes.

this kid has my 1080s is 50%, there was this guy throwing backs at alpental off this kicker with scratches, and my friend who lives up the street, i knwo bunch of people who have done it before cus my school went on a ski trip, i dunno.

there's a really cool dude at mount snow who's black... forget his name though... there's this one big black dude in my school who came out skiing once last year... first time on skis and he was hittin' tables and going huge - and crashing huge. but he was really, really high so he just got up laughed and yelled 'i love this shit'. it kicked ass.

this guy named alex from my skoo is black and he went snoboarding this year. it wuz hella funny cuz he just wore like...5 pairs o jeans and 10 ecko shirts. no ski stuff. he thought he wuz stylin' on the slopes. he's an ass tho so he doesn't count

i think it's funny when there are no black people, cuz i'm all, damn! all white people AGAIN! and then i act all ghetto and it's great fun. plus then i dont gotta worry bout gettin jumped by no black girls...and i can just kick alla the white girls asses (not you amalia...) but black people are fun to hang out w/, so it sucks.

haha they almost made me their bitch. but I kept 'em in control. it was all hard packed and I don't have a very wide stance so It actually helped me bacuse every time I turned the outside ski would leave the ground. So I had to adjust to keep them both on the ground.

I work to pay for all my skiing also, but if my parents didn't have money I never woulda gone skiing growing up and I wouldn't be a skier now

I am black and I ski. I was lucky to start way back in 2nd grade cause I was invited to go skiing with the white people from my mom's job. The way I see it is this. Umm Utah has like zero black folk, if u ski out their you see no black people. I am east coast, so u see em. I am not sure about pure westcoast though. I kinda feel out of place sometimes, but skiing is skiing, i only go lik 10 times per year down here in VA but I enjoy myself. People are nice and hittin a 3 is kinda big on skis. We have a couple of twin riders out here. I feel that skiing needs to go multi racial to progress. Most black people would rather snowboard though I think since that is seen as more popular.

for real man, that's exactly where skiing has to go, I want to see all reces out there hucking, arabs, muslims, indians, pakistanis, chinese, and especially inuit

well lemme give this a quick chance... well one reason is maybe because there arent an extreme amount of people of different races or cultures who live in canada, usa. if you go on the streets or something on a normal city block, chances are you will see 50-1 white people. of those people, take the normal % of people who ski. now add up all those 1 people out of 50s, and get the % who ski. you will find thats why you probably dont see as many. its just like how you dont see too many white people in the NBA. there are, but few. and only 1 canadian that i know of(nash, a hero lol)
