Black Ski Boots

I am trying to black out everything this year and I am looking for a good black ski boots that is reliable and comfy. Something under 500 would be preferable.

Not posting to WTB because I don't want to buy them of of NS.
 
Lol, the boots that fit you may be black. Getting something that doesn't fit just cause it's black would be dumb, and not getting something that fit's cause it's not black isn't much better. FT konflicts are pretty black, as were spks at some point in time. Won't your pants cover most of them anyway?
 
Why do you have to be like practically everyone else on this site and lecture this kid on how he needs to get the boots that fit? He wasn't saying that he was gonna get a specific boot because of the looks without trying it on, he just simply wanted a couple of boot suggestions that are all black.

OP, next years Full Tilt Dropkicks are black and run for $480. I also know that last years Dalbello Voodoos were all black, but I don't know about this years.
 
Yes I actually wore Voodoo's for the past two years. I personally wasn't a really big fan, as I thought they were rather stiff, but that's just me. They could end up being the perfect boot for you.
 
My 10/11 Voodoos fit me perfectly right off the shelf with the stock liner, so I kind of got lucky. But two years deep and they're still a super solid boot that I use for everything.

As onenerdy says the overlord is a great choice I had some last season and those boots are amazing. They ski really powerfully Nd don't be put off by the seemingly high flex they are by no way too stiff for park. If you have a narrower foot look at the new redster or blackster as they should have called it.
 
The problem is as soon as you get a boot in mind that you want it sways your choice. Say there is a full black boot that fits ok then a really colourful boot which fits perfectly, because you have it in your head that you want black may make you ignore the fact it didn't fit perfectly and buy it anyway. It's always harder when a customer comes in with a boot already in mind. Sometimes it happens to fit but more often then not it doesn't and then you spend half the time trying to convince them they should not be in a certain boot rather then getting on with your actuall job of fitting the right boot for them. By all means have a look at boots but only after you know what will actually fit your feet, ie having already been to a fitter.

I don't see what's so bad about it. Listing boots which are black and might just have a chance of fitting OP is an equally pointless process. If he gets fitted and he's still not happy with the colour of his boots, he can dye them.
 
It just seems like people are making it sound like every person has 1 boot and 1 boot only that will fit them ever. More often then not you are at least going to have a couple options, which with a good pair of footbeds will all work.

Seeing a boot fitter is still important, it just seems like "go too a boot fitter" is the newest trend people say too feel good without actually putting in any effort to help the op.
 
^ the issue is most people have no real idea about the shape of there foot so its really hard to give an usefull information. You re very correct that there are prob 2-3 boots that will work for most people trouble is there are hundreds of boots out there. Until people start posting photos of there feet advising going to a boot fitter I the best we can do.

The exception is when they have Ben to a fitter and want to know about a certain boot, or if they are having specific problems with a boot, then we can maybe help.
 
last years high fives were sick. and ya this years drop kicks come in black or blue. i actually died my tongues black on my black and red classics and i think they look pretty cool
