Gregg: face it its not just a stereotype that black people are poor, you go to even York,PA and go into the lower income housing and mostly it is minorites (blacks, spanish) i dont know why it is they that dont just get an education or have more high paying jobs, because really segregation today doesnt limit them that is an excuse... but other than the few that break the mold this is just how it is when you simply just travel to most lower income neighborhoods

K2Skier: Actually, I listen to every genre of music out there. I see no reason for my skin color to dictate which musical styles I enjoy. Besides, rap gets tiresome since so few artists are true to the music's roots and there is little positive rap (there are perhaps only a handful of political and/or positive rap artists). In general, I prefer the various classicals sytles, jazz, classical, classical Arabian, etc. Only a fool is limited by their race or refuses to see the artistry in other cultures.

seems like it's just a matter of time until a black person starts ruling at skiing. Stylewise, blacks have been schooling whites for decades, probably longer. Just listen to their music- they have the most style in that medium. And athletically? Pretty much superior. So I think it's a matter of time until there is a tiger woods-like skier who shocks the world by ruling whites at their own sport. Imagine the speed and high trajectories that a black mogul skier could attain with their wealth of fast-twitch muscles?

My good friend who'se black started snowboarding instead because he heard it was easier to learn and he didn't start till he was in his late twenties. But before that, he used to say shit like 'we're tropical people and it's too cold' I bet the temperatures keep many off the hills.
