Black Crows Atris Mount Location

Hi -

Interested in the Black Crow Atris as a playful charger but not convinced by the rec mount point (-8cm). I’m more used to riding skis mounted around centre..

Anyone have any experience with mounting these sticks further forward, maybe -2/3cm from true centre?

You should look at different skis. Plenty of skis in that waist width with more centered mounts. On3p k108, moment deathwish or meridian, 4frnt devastor etc all have recommended mounts of -4/5 and can work really well a little forward of that

Been interested in the meridians for a while - how do they handle on firmer groomers being a full rocker ski?

I skied a centred mount for the better part of 5 years. Stopped doing that 3ish years ago. I currently ride the 190 Atris and have them at ~3cm back from measured, true centre. I can still ski larger jumps with them, not much of a rail guy anymore. No problems switch, at high speed, or carving hardpack.

I really like that mount point. I would honestly go for 4cm back from true centre if I could do it again. My favourite ski that I've owned by far.
