I saw these guys perform this past saturday at a somewhat local venue. It was absolutely amazing. They both put on freaking awesome performances. My dad does work for the Crowes, so I was backstage when Petty got off the tour bus. Man, they treat him like Jesus. They had to clear like a 15 path for him and nobody could be near him except for the man holding a flashlight. Pretty insane. If anybody else saw it, share.

What a long, strange trip it's been.

damn lucky u. although were having/had so many concerts here lately...billy idol, rolling stones, rob plant, everyone at bluesfest including zztop, bruce springsteen, black eyed peas...etc

i am so jealous. by the time i had money to get tix they were all sold out for both michigan show, it sucks, but they are both amazing bands and to be touring together wuite possibly could have been the show of a lifetime

i bought tickets the day before for the one at Van Andel Arena. cuz they block off seats till they know where the stage is. then the day before they open them for sale. i got amazing tickets

i saw it back in early july i think it was..quality concert..not the best ive heard..but its tom petty
