Black Crow Anima thoughts Versus other daily drivers

Ive been looking at the Anima, Wildcat, and CT 4.0. I have a surface Daily 120 191, and I had a Rustler 11 188 but did not enjoy it much, not sure why. Just wondering how these three skis compare and which is a better investment.

I am 5'11 195, ski style is pretty chargy but always looking for fun hits to do all around the mountain. I ski at snowbird in utah.

I’m 5’11, 160. Daily’ed Bibby/Wildcats for a few seasons. Currently daily is a pair of Deathwishes. Can’t speak highly enough of moment. Great build quality, A+ rippability, feel great in the air, all around fantastic skis.

The anima isnt that great on groomers and cant be driven like the wildcat 118 can. The wildcat is also much better in chop.

Anima is better in fresh pow though, but for a DD for sure go wildcat.

I own a 190 bibby and 194 anima.

So If I keep the surface ski would you say that is resembling c the wildcat and the anima would complement the quiver more? Or just get the wildcat because it’s the best in general

The surface is probably more pow oriented, but I am not too familiar with it. So i think it would compliment the wildcat well.

I have found that the Anima is a stupid good DD. I have to disagree with the other replies because I found that it can be driven real hard whether you’re skiing groomers chop or pow. The CT 4.0 is also a fire ski and it has no speed limit regardless of the snow or terrain that you’re skiing.

I love my Anima's I think they hold up really well on the hardpack because of the camber profile and they charge like non-other. if you're looking for a one ski quiver you may want to go narrower but I can't speak highly enough about well they ski.

Toss the Blackops 118 on the list if you are looking for a resort daily driver fat ski. Powerful and heavy enough to ski crud etc. But still skis groomers well due to it’s big amount of camber underfoot
