181, good condition, top sheet scratches but no real base damage.

includes tyrollia railflex binding. LD14 i think.

Im well into my third season with my trix, I ski about 15+ times a year and these skis have yet to fail me, 150 bucks will get you some bombproof skis, go for it

I don't think the Mad Trix skis ever had a rail mount, so the bindings wouldn't be Railflex. They're probably just the LD14s which mount fairly flush with the top of the ski... unless I'm mistaken.

I can promise you that they do have the railflex binding on them. I've only been skiing them for 2 years. I kinda know.

How did you manage to get a pair of 03 MTs with a railflex mount on them?

Railflex is Tyrolia's Rail mounting system. Takes the drilling out of binding mounting (on factory skis). It also helps maintain a constant flex on the ski by eliminating the "dead" spot under foot. The DIN settings are also made more consistant by allowing your heel and toe pieces on a rail to "float". Whenever you flex your skis on a more traditional drill-in binding setup, the forward pressure increases and decreases, which can result in higher or lower effective DIN settings.

Basically, you adjust your binding's length according to your boot sole length on the rail, then you slide the whole thing onto the rail track, tighten one big screw, adjust DIN, check forward pressure, and off you go.

They discountinued the original railflex system and made a new Railflex 2 recently. If you do happen to get a ski with railflex mounts, make sure you have the right generation of binding as they are not compatible with each other (gen 1 and gen 2 railflex).

great skis i have the 2001 182 mad trix. they hold up so well. definitley a good deal. i got mine for about a similar price with p10s.

great carvers and perfect for beginners in the park who abuse their skis through their progression.

no they arn't demo bindings. They are regular tyrollia bindings but they were designed to adjust and fit different boot sizes.

Tyrolia LDs have a Diagonal heel release... similar to Rossi's turntable heel. They're good bindings... they just don't have the same amount of heel elasticity as the rossi or look bindings.

^ what he said.

They are definitely good bindings. I thought i'd offer these to people on newschoolers first. I'm putting them up on craigslist this afternoon.

I'll get some up today...i promise...I don't know how to post pics in a forum but i'll post the link. maybe someone can help me out. Check back before 8pm Pacific time.

You could try just shifting the rail...

Suppose you have a 315mm boot sole. Just mount the front at something like 355mm and the rear at 275mm. The sole length would be the same, but your mid sole point should have shifted forward.
