Bittersweet new quad express

Bittersweet MI is getting a new quad express chair, which is crazy because it will be their 2nd one as a little hill in the middle of nowhere. Does anybody know if theres any other michigan (LP or UP) hills with 2 express chairs?

Thats going to put so many people on the hill it will be unskiable to anyone trying to rip on weekends. Really liked the lift set up last year. Moving the old quad away from the lodge moved the crowd away from the building and opened up a ton of space and took the crowds of Columbine which is easily the most playful and fun run on the hill. Having another high speed there brings back all the old problems. But COVID gave the company more money to burn so they're gonna burn it.

sorry to bring up an old thread but you were absolutely right. The chairs go to the same place at the top so it's extremely busy to the point that it's almost difficult to get off the chair.

Yeah, seems I got out of that place at the right time. Was back in December before the new lift was running and didn't hear much good. I'd been seriously concerned about erosion where the new lift terminal is. That's a lot of heavy equipment sitting on the edge of a freshly moved pile of dirt that doesn't appear to have any bracing. There's also a lot of rumors on ownership, how they screwed the old ski school director out of his business, and how they went about working with Poma on that lift but I won't share details on those. Really glad I don't deal with it anymore.

For real, that thing makes me nervous every time I go up it. The amount of dirt they even had to move up there for it to be an option is crazy. Will be interesting to see what work they do to it this summer.
