ok so this last summer i had a chance to renew my contract with altell for the first time since i got my phone(7th grade and its through the place my dad works) anyways about 4 months later just happend to drop my phone as i was pullin sweet tricks with it. so anyways altell wont do shit for me but they said i could call and get phone insurance. so i call well it took me 25 mins to get through to an actual human who just told me i couldnt apply for this because my phone was through my dads business. so the moral of this story is that i myself have to pay 200$ to get rid of my phone and switch to a different carrier but cant apply or do anything for my own phone. so FUCK ALTELL and my dads company!
 
make sure you switch to verizion they pwn all other phone companys around here

idk bout where u live... but their customer service is excellent!!!!

This is why the site is based for 15 year olds. Right here. I don't want to post this at all but I will.

You dropped your own phone, doing "sweet tricks?" You're on a business plan and expect customer service based for individuals? You're mad your stupidty of dropping your own phone isn't covered by a money-making business? And then you're mad you're being charged an early termination fee that you agreed you'd pay when you or your dad signed the contract?

All while using really great things like "bitch ass" and "FUCK ALTELL" as ways to explain your problem.

You do realize you could go on eBay and buy an new or used Altell phone, for under 25 dollars, and continue to fulfill you contract. If you're still disatisfied with Altell and it's service, you could join a new network, like At&t (recommended) or Verizion.
 
That's why you get phone insurance on expensive phones in the first place.

If you want to know a BIG ripoff, you can't get phone insurance on Blackberry's and I think iPhone's tho I'm not sure about them. They say the phones are 'too expensive'. Pretty bs.

I added my BB to my homeowners insurance cause apparently you are allowed to do that haha, so hopefully that will cover it if anything happens to it.
 
its not altells fault you dont have insurance...try having your dad call them...they might tell him more...or have him talk to his company about how to get insraunce. dont just get pissed at a company that didnt do anything wrong. any other server, verizon nextel tmoble, they would all tell you the same thing in that situation. are you 18? cuz if not then you cant change anything on your account anyway....whoever's account it is, im guessing your dad, has to do it.
