Damn me for having to make this thread, but goddamn....

ANOTHER FUCKING LAME ASS SEASON. Seriously. I cant remember since we had a good snow year, but that might just be cause I'm like 11 years old. Wait, I mean 9. But FUCK. Didnt we get shat on last year? I mean, sure, I had a pow day or two, but there were seriously sticks everywhere throughout the year. Just FUCK. The best consistent snow we had that year was the week that everything started to close.

And dont even get me started on this fucking season. Sean, first and foremost, no more perdictions you fucking Nostradomus. January 1st can suck my balls. The fucking enter page on NS said 'EARLY SNOW OF 04' for three months and while we sat back and scratched our heads. What the fuck is happening? Has El Ninio set up camp in Washington or some shit?

And now, finally, after being open for one spectacular month in really fucking sketchy conditions, RAIN. RAIN RAIN RAIN. All through this week, continuing into the weekend. There are motherfucking PUDDLES on the Stevens Pass webcam. Seriously, what the hell did we do in this state to deserve this?

That felt good, anyone else feel like a good bitch-out on mother nature (or kevin?)

hahaha, sadly they weren't open for one month, it was TWO WEEKS.

And I do apoligze for predicting correctly, but I will give this forth prophecy in sooth and you can take it as you will:

This season is not over. We will get more snow, and the areas will ALL open for normal operation, but it will still be pretty weak. But we will have skiing for a good month at least. But we have to wait a few more weeks until we'll get up again, just gotta be patient!!!

oh, and also, not last year, not the year before, but the year before that was a KILLER year. That was the year cindy (the bitch) won her seasons pass, we had SUCH a long ass season, with a TON of big days.

that was the year i remember skiing such amazing powder all the time. stevens backcountry was super duper sweet, and inbounds was neeto too

I haven't skied on those skis since that year! haha, and I finally retired them for good by taking the bindings off for my new skis, now I gotta put em up on ebay or something.

^true, but even last year was well below the percipitation average. We have had about 5 crappy years in a row, and now we have hit rock bottom.

and even last year wasn't that good, we opened pretty late. but pretty early in comparison to this year.

yea... I remember the year we had a ton of snow... but I didn't ski that much that year... I've been skiing since I was 3 but my family couldn't afford seasons passes, decent equiptment or more than a few tickets per year. the year after that prime year was when I finally started to really get into skiing and making an effort to go up... but I didn't really have a home mtn so I still didn't get a seasons pass until last year... and while it wasn't the worst year ever, it wasn't great. I was SOOO looking forward to an AMAZING year this year, especially with that october snow but then BOOM!!! it all freaking goes away. this season's breaking my heart and skiing was one of two great things in my life and my best stress reliever and this year I totally need stress relief cuz I am about to explode with all the SHIT that's going on around me... I FUCKING NEED TO SKI SOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD!!!!! we're gonna get a horrible snow pack this year, which means droughts in the summer and leaving me with the only option I have of praying for a great year next year, wherever that may be.

It was the winter of 1999-2000. It was taking us like twice as long to get to Silver Mt. because the roads were so bad...but pow-pow every day.

This year can eat a dick. Mo'fucking Nino, I find him I'll make him my bitch...that La Nina too. Fuckers.

yeah, i really wanna go back up to whistler, but its so god damn expensive. tickets ain't bad, i got my edge pass, its just accomodations.
