everyone knows that some b.days are found more special then others, lots of kids get super stoked when they turn 10, and 16 is a very well known one of corse, same with 18 and 21. anyways, today is my sweet 16 and its also my champaign birthday (incase you dont know what that is, its my 16th birthday on the 16th) and I dont get to do anything super fun for it, sorta upset about that but when I get home (in a week) im jumping into the ocean from the ferry landing beccause I never have befor.

THE POINT: I was wondering what really cool stuff people have done on birthdays they where really looking forward to? or stuff that they want to do.
 
my sweet sixteen was an alice n wonderland themed mad hatter tea party with my friends then we all went skinny dipping in the ocean, fun times

planning on going ski diving for my 18th with my brother, got it all set up :)
 
wow for some reason i just felt really old reading this thread. with that said, i never had a sweet 16 or anything like that. wasnt really my "thing". plus being that its during the winter, i was always playing bball so i usually had practice or games scheduled.

18th bday i went to montreal with a good group of friends-had a shitload of fun

21st bday i sat an empty bar with one of my best guy friends - my freakin bday was on a sunday and i had to work the next morning. sucked

25th bday my insurance rates went down.

thats all i got.

yeah im turning 16 in june. we should hook up ;) hahaha

anyways, all i want is to go take my permit test and fucking drive. oh and get crunk.
 
Every birthday from my 16th - 24th i've just gone out with friends and got completely hammered.

agree with the 25th, i'm looking forward to insurance rates dropping, thats about all i have to look forward to at the moment.

And no need to do anything gay or girly on your birthday, just get hammered or chill.

I actually hate my birthdays, makes me feel old.

for my 16th i just went out to dinner with freinds

same for 17th... 18th is in a few months and i dont know what i will do.
 
for my 16th, everyone in my family was sick, so my girlfriend surprised me and randomly took me skiing for a night. Actually one of the better birthdays for me because otherwise i'd have just sat around
 
Haha my 17th was yesterday . I actually had a pretty shitty day, I won't lie. I'm being a total hyporcrit for saying this right now but i really hate it when people announce their birthdays to the world and brag about them and shit. But anyway, my dad works in DC and we live in PA so he's only home for birthdays when they're on a saturday or sunday. It kinda sucks. So if you can spend it with your family, be thankful for that. Otherwise I've never really done anything special for my birthday... Skiing is fun though. Try that. Hah.
 
For my 16th I had a fondue party with my good friends, had a whole bunch of other people over for a house party, ran around the neighborhood and acted stupid...yeh. I can't remember what I did for my 17th birthday. 18th is coming up in a few months, getting my tattoo finally day of.
 
My 16th and 18th birthday's sucked ass. My 19th birthday was the most eventful. I went to Buckhead, GA for a week with my best friend who also has the same exact birthday as me. I also drove a Lambo that night. Schweetness.
 
Hmm... my family calls it a golden birthday. I turned 15 on the 15th, and i got this little gold money clip, it was neat.
 
my 16th is coming up in the summer

i really dont know what im going to do though...

17th as i rememberd went to the beach with an assload of people, but didnt tell anyone it was my birthday til i got home... 18th worked road construction in like 40 celcius weather, then a couple friends bought me a sunday at dairyqueen. so ya
 
my birthdays normally consist of a nice dinner at home with the family, maybe a weekend at the lake with them and maybe one or two friends. never anything spectacular, which i like. just a good time.
 
18th birthday i ended up in vegas which was pretty fun. 19th birthday wasnt all that special. i went to work, came home to my friends apartment cause i was temporarily homeless, ate some pizza with the few kids who were also homeless with me and watched some TV. it was a pretty lame bday
 
I make it a point to take off of work every single year on my birthday, I can't even remember the last time I worked on my birthday. Other than that 21 was pretty good, no bars but I went to the mountains with friends and bought all types of alcohol for a good weekend. Also spent a week camping in the poconos with a canoe and lake a few years back and that was pretty cool. I gonna do something killer on my 30th in a few years.
 
My birthdays really suck:

16:My Grandmother died a few days before

18:My cousin's wedding

20:working on a ship, got 4 hours overtime

yup, my life sucks

 
My 19th was yesturday, bought my first legal drink and went out to dinner with the family, I don't ask for much when it comes to birthdays.

im gunna get my driving licence as soon as im home, really looking forward to that.

My birthday is always right during midterms, so I'm not going out for my 19thth (legalness in BC) because of the midterm I have the day after. 18th was similar, but my present was an avie course which I loved.
 
I had a very chill birthday, hung out at a friends house who is a couple years younger then me, but yes it was fun.

im gunna have my actual birthday party when I get home (iv been living in a diff town for three months, leave for home next tuesday) so on the weekend im gunna get to see all my ski friends from back home and have a party up the mountain, and jump into the ocean for an very cold swim.

i did fuck all for my 16th, im waitin till my 18th (march) for a masssive beer sesh, its probably gonna last for 2 weeks haha
