Birthday Present for Mom!

Ok, so my mom has been bed ridden for about 12 years and I need some birthday present ideas.So give me some ideas NS!!!

P.S. Pretty much all she can do is sit in bed and watch TV so I'm not sure of what I can get her that would be worthwhile.

no idea what she exactly has but if she's still able to use her hands, an ipad is one hell of a gift, my friend got one for his dad and he's now addicted to it !otherwise maybe an e-reader or other tablet pc, depending on your budget ....
 
Resisting the urge to make a joke, but yeah an ipads probably a pretty solid idea, get a 2m charger aswell, they're handy.
 
She has Multiple Sclerosis, so she can't really use her hands very well. Her legs are bent at a 90 degree angle. A masseuse might be a good idea though.
 
I bet she wouldnt want nothing more than a homemade card with lots of effort put into it to show your love.

Along with that, breakfast in bed, a nice hand written card, and a masseuse for a day would be excellent gifts.

That's really too bad. Some sort of tablet might still be a good idea though. Just because she can't use her hands very well doesnt mean you or another family member can't. So it might be a good way to spend some quality time with mom! No idea how old you are and if you live at home or if you still live in the same town though, that might complicate things. But then again if you lived out of town, built in camera on a tablet, how awesome would that be.

You don't have to spend insane $$$ on anything though, something nice and simple might do the trick like a nice card or something homemade!

to OP, does she like reading? like, you could get her some special edition books or something, like if she has a favourite book/ author, try and find something really special. i dunno just something i thought of cos i was buying books today but it might be a nice thing to get
 
maybe like a piece of artwork or something to hang on her bedroom wall? you could get pretty #artsy with that haha

But really, you should make her something cause I bet she'd really appreciate it ten times more than if you bought her something.
 
Sentimental jewelry, maybe a Pandora bracelet with a bead that can have a story along with it, one that resembles something
 
If she's technologically impaired like my mom is then you could also hang out with her, and teach her how to use it. That may mean more to her than the tablet itself.
 
I know how it feels man, my Mom has been paralysed neck down since I was 6 after her binding pre-released. 2 years ago my family gathered up all our photos from after the accident, and put together a bunch of collages and pictures of various family members. We felt that the worst part of being bedridden was not being able to see the family often, so we decided some recent pictures can go a long way. The entire wall of the room she faces is covered in photos now.

An Ipad is good also. It opens up a ton of things to do. It also allows easy access to books. Even if she has limited hand use, they have stylus's that you can use with your mouth.

Best advice IMO is just go with what you think she will like best.
 
Holy shit, dude. You must be a truly miserable person to be able to say something like that. And to OP, I don't have any ideas for an actuall gift. But whatever you get, gotta add a card or something you made yourself like others suggested. That effort will mean so much. + vibes bruh, and Happy B-day to Mom!!!
