have you ever notice how snowboarders bigtime carve and corkout there spins yet its still just considered a spin. The more its corked the more its considered style. The definition really doesnt matter.Every snowboarder corks it out to their own satisfaction and their own style.I think sometimes skiers are so stuck on the definition. Maybe we should just sit back and say wow that was soo stylie. just a thought, not necessarilly anone elses view.

sounds good to me....contests will always be there though, so you gotta have the terms for definition and scoring, but i totally agree.

I think of a 540 as a 540, no matter how you do it. if it's corked carved or bio, it's still a 540. just my 2 cents

i think trick names all make sence....but instead of being like 'wow, that was a stylie 7' you say 'wow, that was a stylie cork 7' becuase straight 7s can be just as sweet as a cork, bio, d-spin, whatever....and the names arent that hard to figure out

Why cant we just say 'sick style dude', and be happy with that?

whatever i think wont make an impact on what people say is, but we need names because there is just too many varations
