Bindings

Okay so first of all I know this is a played question but I couldn't find a really good answer.

First: I am 5' 8" 155-160 ish level 3-3+ skier 98% park

Second: I am decided between FKS 140s and STH 12 Drivers

My question to you guys is do I need a 14 din binding (I ride an 8-9 din) and I am scared about the brakes breaking on the FKS (I know the STH brakes will break also but they are easy to fix)

The Pivot14/FKS140 has a din range of 5-14, so a din 9 sits quite comfortably in the middle of the Pivot14/FKS140's din range. I wouldn't a 14 din binding is overkill for DIN9.

A 14 din binding is nowhere near overkill it also allows room to move up or down

Thanks guys should I worry about breaking the brakes though? I am just scared cause of how much of a pain they are to replace

I personally wouldnt because i mean yes it happens but not every person that rides them breaks brakes

do you need to redrill the binding to the ski if you brake your brake ?

They are both good. I prefer fks/pivots but drivers are really good too

I hated my salomon bindings, so much pre-release but maybe that was just me. I just ordered some fks and they are coming in tomorrow, Ive used the rossi freeski 120s before and they served me well. I would reccomend rossi over salomon anyday
